People having an episode can feel completely invincible and on top of the world, seeming very self absorbed to others. They care exclusively about what they want. Im bipolar and this is not bipolar behaviour. She is a narcissist and I feel sorry for her daughter.
Narcissist is highly likely but so is BPD she sways all over the place with her emotions. That's not a bipolar symptom, that's Borderline Personality Disorder. Shes ill and the father is doing nothing but pouring gasoline on a fire, and everyone around them is getting burned.
