I used to take krav maga lessons with a certified trainer here in Brazil and got molested. Kept away from these classes for a long time and decided I needed the exercise again, so here I am... Dude.. I've never sweat this much my whole life! This will 100% keep my stress and anxiety away, maybe even long term, with practice. Thank you so much!!
This got to be one of the best training videos I have ever seen. My only suggestion would be to continue the window of upcoming exercises right before finishing the present one.
NP E So glad you enjoy these workouts. We have some more coming next month. We will take that suggestion into thought next time we film one. Keep training!
Really glad you liked it! Once this video gets more views I plan on making a few more. I also have a DVD with 2 workouts on it at the moment. Thanks for watching (and sweating). -Michael
Awesome workout video! The paste is just right. The explanations and demonstrations are very good and you even thought of pauses and motivation in between. I had a good time. Very well done!
After I praticed this and the other workout (which you can do alone) nearly every day for several weeks, there are 2 minor things I think you should improve in case you are going to make more videos like this: First the streching is too short. 10 Seconds for each strech is just not enough, There was no improvement in flexibility, just the preservation of the status quo. And the commands during the cool down are too fast. You can`t look at the screen during most of the streching exercises, so the time when you say what to do next one has no time to change the position according to the video. just my 2 cents. PS: It would be awesome if you could make an advanced exercise which is more challenging. :)
These are great comments. We will increase the length of our flexibility section, and hold stretches for longer in the future. We do have some other krav maga workouts on our channel, the one done by Michael South, is more advanced. Nice job working out every day, that's great dedication!
UltimateTraining ok seems like i have missed that one wok out. I ll have a look! I had to pause krav maga for quite some time because of an injury. So these workouts were a fun way to get back in shape. Glad to hear that you are open for suggestions. keep up the good work!
I've been doing it for about 12 days.. sometimes I just skip to the cooldown if I can't continue.. I skipped the cooldown first time and got a lot of pain... nice and effective cooldown. also I can move my body without getting tired as fast as before.. I like it I can move my hands and legs fast now without stopping between each move :3 thanks a lot! :D btw should I do it everyday for all week, or how much days per week? :D :D thanks again!
That is awesome news. 12 days of this straight and you should be feeling pretty darn good. Realistically I would do a workout like this 3-4 times a week. Do 1-2 days of strength training, and at least one full day of rest. I really do hope to film some new workouts next month with our new cameras. I even workout with this video myself sometimes, which probably sounds hilarious. :) -Michael
UltimateTraining Ok thanks a lot :D I was looking for a bo staff workout (not a training cause I don't have the speed and can't use it yet... I need some workout like this one for the bo staff to learn to handle it effectively and fast if possible..).. I really like it, but I don't know if it is good with self defense from streetfights.. I have some good arm strength.. but not a very good legs strength... is the bo staff good for this situation? sorry for bothering you but I can't find such thing on the internet.. and you are a great source for such information and workouts..
Waseem Wasaya Well, some people would laugh and think this is a silly question. But, for the sake of the question, yes a bo can be used in real self defense. In the past, before mobile firearms, bos were applicable in real self defense. Of course, picking up anything like a long pipe, bar, etc. in a fight scenario can be used like a bo. It is for this reason that bo training could be translated into real life fighting. But, it is kinda unrealistic to walk around with a staff on your back like Donatello from TMNT, ;). But, it is always nice to know that your training can have dual or deeper purposes.
Waseem Wasaya Staff is an excellent defensive weapon in the hands of anyone who knows how to use one, thanks to it's reach and leverage. In terms of melee weapons, the only better weapon is a spear. If you are looking for staff technique and workouts, check out ua-cam.com/channels/WYtZYH4kcbMm29liIOSGQQ.html. Jake Mace has several vids that break down the basic techniques, and then puts them together for sequences that make great workouts. I think he even has a specific bo workout video.
I did this exercise in 2019 but I didn't continue. Now in 2021 I'm gonna do it right, because this workout makes me break a lot of sweat. Been filming myself for 9 days now. I will do this for 30 days atleast. Great workout👍
Just wanted to say Thank you! i just started exercising on my own for the first time ,and this work out is great! and fun also it gets me more ready for when i get back into Krav Maga :) Thanks again!
+UltimateTraining Hello,I'm a beginner and find this Very doable and Very useful,Thank You.Are you on twitter or do you do a weekly podcast covering Krav Magra? Thanks very much
+irishpat64 We are not on twitter and do not have a weekly podcast on Krav Maga. However, we about about to launch the Global Martial Arts University Krav Maga course. We will be releasing a new class every single week, you can sign up right now at 50% off on our pre-enrollment page. Just google it and you'll find us. Thanks!
I would like to do some new workouts within a few months, and will consider a longer one - at around 35 minutes or so. Thanks for watching...and sweating along with me.
I'm not sure the reference to the Guillotine Choke is accurate in this video. I believe the Guillotine hold is facing your opponent, where as a choke hold from behind is what is portrayed.
There was an epic editing fail, where I typed the wrong name, and followed through verbally. Thanks for pointing that out. I hope you still enjoyed the workout today, take care and be well! -Michael
Thanks for watching. This is more of a high-speed workout than a tutorial. I do have many more basic, slow krav videos. Please go to my channel, and search krav maga. Thanks! :)
I liked the format, but some of the movements were hard to visualize where the target was. Can you do one with maybe a partner so my moves don't get sloppy as fatigue sets in?
Lets say i do this everyday and increase each repetition to 50 to 60 reps so far I have increased to 35 will it help me in defending myself in street against opponents
+Sunny Das Yes and no. Getting reps in will embed this in your muscle memory. But, to be more prepared for a self defense situation, you need to do live practice with a qualified training partner or instructor in order to make progress.
giaxara ntan If you are looking to do endurance/stamina training, through high cardio, then I would run after the final krav round of this workout. And then do the cool down.
I like doing Small little warm up runs before to get the juices flowing, like one mile or less. But running more than a mile is essential for me after a workout. Your already tired, so the running after increases your endurance, more than it would running before. But at the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference.
I used to go to krav maga classes, I sort of left a few weeks after I got kicked by a very very VERY strong legged girl, she kicked me so hard I fell to the ground. If your reading this person who kicked me in the jaw (not saying her name out of respect)... We cool btw lol, I just won't forget it...
Thanks! This workout killed me as I was filming it...and I worked really hard on it so everyone can follow along at home. ;)
this is the Martial Art with no art, pure to defeeat enemy as efficient as possible. i like it.
No its not, his stand up technique is horrible
No style at all agreed.
It's a workout not a level 5 exam tough guys

I missed class today because of traffic. This was awesome as a quick filler! Thank you!
thanks for sharing i want to start working out everyday using your videos. 30 day challenge for myself during this time at home
Great workout bro!! Some of the most important techniques in just 25 minutes!!
Looks like a really good full body workout with added benefit of teaching my body self defense. I am excited to do it. Thank you!
this really helped me lose 11kgs in 2 months with combination of morning jogs..thanks!
That's awesome, good work losing 11kgs!
How often per week?

Good work out, what rank does this workout belong?

Can this be shorter, and does this workout have compound exercises?
You should remove a section from the workout if you would like to shorten it. And, there are compound exercises.
very good!

Cool
I thought you were just okinawan martial Arts snd bo haha nice sensei hodge
Yeah, I love krav too!
In Gym they train us to build muscle but this workout even teaches us self defence and it teaches how to defeat Enemies.
looks great burn some fat i will try this
should I run before the workout or after or don't run at all which is better?
giaxara ntan If you are looking to do endurance/stamina training, through high cardio, then I would run after the final krav round of this workout. And then do the cool down.
Depends what your goal is?
I like doing Small little warm up runs before to get the juices flowing, like one mile or less. But running more than a mile is essential for me after a workout. I'm so not coordinated enough to do this...yet.
I used to take Krav Maga and then stopped. I'm thinking of getting back into it. I'm in my late 40's would you say I'm too old ?
No. You are never too old for anything. Tony Hawk still Skates with 50+, my grandfather learned Italian with 84. No excuses.
U old af fool
Looks like a muscle memory workout to.

💪💪✔💯🙏🔯.
You didn't protect your face throughout. While it is just a workout, you should instruct your watchers that their face always needs to be protected.
