I find it ironic. The man was returning from a meeting where he went to discuss solutions the issue! Those traveling by road should be careful. I hope security between Okene and Obajana in Kogi state (where he was kidnapped) has been beefed up.

Who will address the issue? This is the genesis of suffering in Nigeria until the country is divided or come to agreement on Aburi accord.

I'm not been horrible, if the crisis in Nigeria are felt by the top officials like you, May be there will be a better approach by the government. Ordinary Nigerians died recklessly just because of corrupt and selfish leaders.

What makes the Kidnappers strong? Because of the guns?
Btw I watched the police presence during demonstrations and the Army presence during IPOB confrontation, they were well armed. So stop making excuses for the state security. Just say there is no will, confidence and competence to address the issue. Btw why are there kidnappings? Because Nigeria is broken due to incompetence and poor management. Nigerians go Back home and do some soul searching. Ask for help from abroad because it’s becoming clear that there can’t be a domestic solution. Let me be clear, I am not suggesting any kind of illegal act of war or something. But honest acknowledgement of failure and request for help.

    Jobs, jobs, jobs.
    Build roads.
Build Internet infrastructure, and make broadband affordable to everybody.
    Cut senators' salaries.
    Borders are too porous.
Once people have good jobs, 419 would reduce, boko haram would no longer be able to recruit so easily.
    Ultimately kidnappings too would reduce.
If you have a problem, you must study the origin and attack it.
It is good that the big guys too are not safe anymore. For decades, they've been looting, sending their kids abroad, and they themselves hiding in their secure homes. That is no longer the case.
