1080p HD!
An early start at Manchester Airport on December 23rd 2015 to catch the 3 morning Boeing 777 departures. Etihad, Singapore & Emirates all scheduled to leave before 9am! The sun was still quite low which created perfect lighting for filming. Some beautiful close ups of these mighty aircraft departing on RWY23L, look out for Emirates pilot who gave us a wave!
After the 10:30 runway closure we headed around to the aviation viewing park to see some of the arrivals on RWY23R, one of which was the fourth 777-300 of the day, a Qatar arrival from Doha.
Check out the full video of all this mornings action from Manchester!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all my subscribers!
Thanks for watching

The one thing I really love about the 777s is the sounds of the GE90 engines spooling up for take off.
DaNihsel Yes indeed, I totally agree with you, and I can't wait to see how humongous the GE9X engines will be, when the Boeing 777X comes into service!
Yes 👍🏼🇺🇸✊
DaNihsel same!

The 🤣
Wow what a monster. The 737 in front of it really gives perspective.
The Easyjet Airbus sounds like a coffeemachine compared to the mighty 777 with GE,s...Lol..lovely video by the way!
Awesome shot at 0:50 , looking at the size difference of a 737 and a 777
The diameter of the GE 90-115b engines on the 777 are about the same diameter as the fuselage on the 737
@06:08 Spotted Captain waved his hand to the camera ;)

What a graceful aircraft!
Love the close-up shots of the GE90s!
The 777-300ER is both a beauty and a beast! I can feel the rumble every time I watch one takeoff.
GE90 heaven. Nice work, liked

777 what a beauty
Look at the size difference between the 3 planes about 1 monute into the video the 777-300ER is a huge plane and of course those engines. The 777-300 is my favourite passenger plane
Merry Xmas Rachaelmatt.

Muito Show Muito bom
Nice:D
Always 'from Abu Dhabi to the world' 🥲😭 Etihad
Great vid as ever :)
+Stuart Taylor I'll second that!
+MKT Transport Video Flight i really find both fascinating and terrifying! Fascinating in the physics of how flight works, but terrifying in that you are so high up! Recently flew to Chicago via Atlanta on VS109, first time flying in 15 years and was on my own! Been trying to find a vid of take off / landings but took off on a wed morning and arrived back on a sunday.
nice
love you الامارات
A lot of Ge 90😍😍😍
My mate works the etihad 773 route man to Abu Dhabi
Greatt vd
I had a hard time switching from the 767 to the Triple 7, the 67 has been my favorite for a long time, its roomy, economy plus is fine for a 6'1" guy. The Triple 7 seemed, at first, to be too big, losing the comfortable but nice and cozy feel of the 767., and going back to the DC-10, and Tri-Star. Qantas fliers know what I'm talking about, the 767 was wildly popular with crews and passengers. As a technical achievement the Triple, designed completely by CAD, is superb, maybe the safest long haul aircraft in history based on miles flown, the 747-400 is just behind it. No aircraft can take a missile strike or being highjacked by its crew changing course to crash into the South Indian Sea when out of fuel. The crash in San Fransisco as tragic as it was resulted in two deaths which was incredible, yes if three pilots each think the others are monitoring the landing but no one is paying any attention to the speed and altitude Yup it can hit short and crash. Thanks for the video, excellent views and the great sound
Fun fact I’ve been on that exact plane
I did a drawing of an Emirates Skycargo 777-300ERs
Wheres the pia in this video, that also dose a route from manchester to islamabad and lehore atleast 2/4 times a week operating a boeing 777-200 or 777-300
From some angles, the diameter of the engines appears to be just as large as the aircraft fuselage.
GE 90's or Trents. Its music to my ears.
did the singapore plane have RR engines? It sounded different than the Etiahad and Emirates birds
I know this question is 7 months old, but for anyone else wondering, this is an Airbus A359 and yes it does use RR Trent XWB engines.
No, because the Singapore jet went in front of the 📷 and spooled up. So the sound effect is different
Since when did 359s have 6 wheeled bogies and raked wingtips? The video was shot in 2015, SQ was still operating 77W via Munich to Singapore then.
777-300ERs are GE engined. -300, -200 and -200ER can have RR engines at customer preference
Nope. All-300ER used GE90-115B engine
what are those metal strip on top of the wing?
I meant in the ethihad 777
what a beauty 💕👄💖👌🎖😃💥
To think people own Jets that big, wow
Why do the flaperons retract and then droop down again during take-off?
Angelo Busato for lift my friend. It helps with the pressure differences on rotate.
Oooooo, what a combination. That lovely whine aswell coming from those beautiful Rolls Royce engines! Oooooooo. Nice easyJet growl too!
the 773ER has the GE90. Not RR.
the 773ER has the GE90. Not RR.
4:05 Kingfisher Bird ? ^^
It's old aircraft registration number TANGO Hotel.
lol at my airport the biggest plane that lands is a dash 8 100
where is that ?
Mosjøen, Norway.
does emirates not fly the A380 daily to Manchester anymore?
Yeh there are 3 daily flights this 777 and 2x a380s
+Plane Crazy cool. roumer has it that a 3 daily flight frm Glasgow or possible a380.
+Graham Mck 3 flights a day into Manchester now , 1st is 777 2nd and 3rd are a380s
😨😨😨😨
Qatar airways in the best.
2:25 almost a bird strike
o o f
Sound like washing machines
is not IMPERIAL units better than metric!
Terminal 4 Heathrow airport Emirates airbus A380 buisness class to dubai.
Now Airbus is busy carrying with their A380 .... saying their developed a foul efficiency plan ,yet Boeing abandoned those double deck plans longtime .... guy's am not a Boeing fun but let's reason together Boeing is 10years far from Airbus ,I remember in 2013 Qatar airways rejected Airbus plans and their to take it back for a proper finishing
1:04 737 is too small
4809 unnited state mail sorter 33617
fUCK.... Massive landing gears lol

Time Boeing invested some money in some new aircraft. A 350 will make this obsolete.
Umm whats the Boeing 787 Dreamliner then... Selling way more than the A350 has.
It's Ok, but it was rushed out with a lot of flaws & I think airlines are getting sick of the backhanders and want superior engineering & better fuel efficiency.
777x
Coming from an Englishman, I prefer Boeing over Airbus, particularly because Airbus is a government-subsidized corporation, while Boeing is a private business.
"I think airlines are getting sick of the backhanders and want superior engineering & better fuel efficiency"? nonsense
You're an airbus troll, son. Or perhaps you can name an airline that employs your technical/engineering expertise...
nice
