i didnt know there was a whole community over airplane engine sounds
lol
Well you can call that awareness
Welcome to the community of GE90 engine 🥰
You can say the same for rocket launches. The acoustics is something to behold.

I worked for General Electric in Cincinnati where this engine is made. What a fantastic feat of engineering, especially the GE90-115B with it's high thrust capability!
I have passed that area heading down south and always wondered if they actually produced engines there. Theres a giant spinner on one of the buildings you can see from I-75. Now I know! 😎
You should be proud! Stellar job my friend!
Damn it! I wish the Wright Brothers could have seen this...
"Wow! They have evolved my dear brothers."
Gustave Whitehead!!
Oliver actually saw big planes, at least the Constellation, which is considered big. He flew with it in 1947 just few months before his death
@@SanAndreas091 Unfortunately bro died before he could see the 707 😔
Something tells me they are.
After all these years of watching Jets take off, I’m still kinda like a kid watching them take to the sky! Never ceases to amaze me!
Same🤗🤗
Me too. Grew up between a Regional Airport and a SAC Air Force Base, three miles from the regional and about ten miles from the AFB. Watched Boeings, MD's, twin prop regionals, and B52s all my life.
The sound of jet engines is part of my lifes soundtrack. Never have I not been fascinated by flight.
I’ve been fascinated by planes ever since I first flew to JFK from Jamaica
I work at the airport. It gives me goosebumps every time. Every time.
I miss the DC-8, super 8. What a rocket!
B-777 probably has one of the most recognizable engine sounds

Especially as it nose dives into the ground
The RB211on the 757 is up there too
Nothing beats the feeling of that thrust on takeoff
Black Pill
The thrust accompanied by that distinctive sound is wonderful. I have to say the 777 is my favorite plane.
Totally agree, beats the 787 take off and feels way more powerful
Except MORE THRUST. Think about it...
@@joseospina7557 Hypercar: 1500 hp. 747/A380: 300,000+ hp. Enough said.
I can think of one thing that does....
When i first saw 777 for real, i was immediately enamored by the sheer sound, power and the incredible sound it made during take off. One of the engineering wonders of the world!
This 777 was causing a change in the local weather with all of that steam. Just an awesome display of power.
The beauty of B777s! One of the beautifully and most wonderfully made planes!
I completely agree with you!
But there is a more wonderful snd beautiful plane
Ive spent so much time lookin at 737s and others that this one just looks awkward and disproportionate to me. Not sure why. I can spot em in the sky miles away too
The wing is actually awfully designed and provides a lot less lift than the 787 or the A350/A380
@@para6902 have to agree. The AoA was SUPER steep by the time that plane left the ground.
Boeing 777 is My favorite airplane. Especially, Boeing 777-300ER is second to none. Engine sound is even beautiful.
Same.. Love the fact that one of those engines have the thrust of two 747 engines...just mighty.
Oh, I work for Delta Airlines, and I gotta say there is only one 777 I like better than the 777-300ER........and that's the bad boy 777-200LR. Took one from Atlanta to Japan nonstop, I don't think there is another commercial airliner that can pull that off! #772LR
Mine too, but my favorite model is the 777-200 series
My favorite of the 777 series is the 777-200 ER with RR Trent 800 engines.
그르렁 거리는 소리는 200이 더 좋은데 파워는 300..
Nothing beats the first KLM 777, it sounds the best 👍😂😂🤗
museack I actually know that so what do you mean? 🤷♂️😶
I love the sound of those extremely powerful engines. That first plane the KLM kicking up water was cool.
Can I just say that I LOVE KLM's livery?
I love it on the dc-10
It's like Estonia's flag. It's flash but not too flash
I like orange pride
I like the one that's not curved front
No
Love the sound of the GE90s spooling up to full power.
The 777 is one of my most favorite planes!
Boeing 777 family is the most beautiful aircraft family in the world of aviation
Best GE-90 sound on UA-cam. Well done!
Thank you :D :D
the 777's just my favourite aircraft of all time and a very beautiful aircraft also the engine sound just tells how powerful this engines are
Those engines just as great inside as they do outside! I took a 16 hour plane ride on a 777-300 and it sounded incredible!
In many respects this jet in and of itself is the largest commercial jet we've ever seen. If you go by just the engines alone it is more powerful then a 747 or A380. You know when your in a 777 and it's taking off especially if your sitting on the wing. It's an immensely powerful experience you'll always remember. I know it was for me compared to any other jet i've flown on.
Wish there was a 9 hour long version of this. I would sleep amazingly !!!
I LOVE, the growl of the engines in the first 2 takeoffs. Man!....what a sound!
Takes me back to the mid 90's, the 777 was under development and flying test flights out Boeing Field airport (BFI) in Seattle. One day I was landing a Cessna 172 on runway 13L and out my right window the 777 prototype was landing on 13R. It had no airline markings, just a large '777' on the tail. Almost 30 years ago but .. Very cool.
So many channels claim to have the "loudest" and "best" 777 sounding takeoff....BUT I've listened to many and THE FIRST TAKEOFF ON THIS VIDEO IS THE VERY BEST! (in my opinion of course)
That’s your opinion though

Pure gold - probably one of the best videos of GE90 sounds I've seen. The RR powered Delta one at the end - pfft :D
At 1:05 a bird was trying to show off to the plane, "I can do this, can you?"
Probably in a panic to put some distance between himself and the intake of a GE90 spooled for takeoff.
the plane probaly doesent care
The plane: "Hold my beer"
At some moment that bird seems to be flying without moving, and I cannot explain it.
thehartschkauser looks like a Kestrel. It can hover in the air to hunt for food!

I mean this honestly and sincerely... I love the fact that you get so stoked by this! There are so many horrible things and comments on UA-cam, but your excitement about this is refreshing!
@@newyorkny533 you got that right 🙂👍
The GE90's look relatively large compared to the plane itself.
Yes they look GIANT.
It larger than 737 body
They look like overgrown biceps. Compare to .... what are those passenger jets with two smaller engines mounted to the body itself, behind the wings?
Imagine what the 777-9x engines look like

My favorite aircraft as child growing up was Boeing 747s but now fell second place since the Boeing 777s came on the scene. Something special about the Mighty 777s like no other. Beautiful Aircraft
You can’t mistake that engine!!! When you hear it you know exactly what it is..... Absolutely stunning. Engineering at its very best
Always a pleasure to hear that GE90 sing.
The triple 7 is a very impressive aircraft. I never felt a landing it’s just that impressive. Thanks for this video. 👍🏻
I love you! Nearly 11 minutes of raw triple7 power and majesty - one after the other...thank you!
Fantastic video!!
You can actually sense the first KLM B-777's mighty momentum at 0:20 - 0:26
love The KLM... foggy take off
Not just POWER, but also RELIABILITY!
i. rob i. rob do you know how silly you sound? Is Boeing the manufacturer of the turbine or GE,PW and RR?
I was a metal fabricator for years and looking at the Saturn V engines and thinking of the work involved in making the most powerful engine to ever shake the earth I get the same feeling listening to these big GE90s spooling up.
This has happened millions of times all around the world and it STILL never gets old!! What beautiful birds!
Fantastic catch, its music to my ear. Huge thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. The Boeing 777 has been my absolute favourite jet since 1995. It's very decent in sound and reliability. Boeing, please don't change it!
Awesome 777 rumble of those GE's!!!
Last minutes..Best sound of GE, best livery of GA, best takeoff and GO!
hear it with headphones and put it on full volume it sound legendary
THAT's Eargasm:)
😂😂
uhh
UHH
Lol yes
The 777 with these engines look proportionaly perfect
I used to be a Professional Flight Engineer. The best feeling in the whole world is when I advanced the thrust levers to takeoff thrust and knowing all that power was in my single hand! What a rush!
Great job and great sounds! nothing like a GE90 at take off thrust!
Great video mate!
Best engine ever made. They actually strapped it to a 747 in its testing phase. They idled the other 3 engine and flew the 747 on that one GE90. Freaking thing flew like all four engines was firing.
The GE-90 Is the Golden Princess of General Electric.
Somehow I don't think 'Golden Princess' would be an effective marketing slogan for selling jet engines. 'Thrustmaster Victorius' is more like it!

That is just SICK SICK SICK ! Friend of mine took off from Miami today via Turkish Airlines 777-300-ER equipped w/ the GE-90 ...
james mills I flew a Turkish 777-300er from Turkey to Texas recently
great video!!! loved it
How hasn't this first clip been awarded an Emmy?
omg that beautiful sound :)
Really gives a good idea just how long those 777-300's are. I like how you can get planes landing on one of the other runways in shot as well from there.
Great footage! I love that spool up!!
This is a new meaning to the term Wind em up. Very large airliners & huge engines that work damn good. Amazing stuff we have today. Thanks for sharing this.
Amazing video!!!!
One of my favorites, along with the 747 and the Dreamliner.
Very nice the hear the engine power outside. I have flown on the 777s many times and I do love flying on them.
Awesome video....Thanks 👍🏻
Nothing but POWER!
The most powerful and beautiful plane!
Great audio capture! I could watch this over and over. In fact, I have. Thank you :)
Your videos just make me happy. Thank you!
Nice only B777! PERFECT!
That Air China Cargo 777 was Heavy lol. Needed a couple extra feet to get airborne😂🛫
Knowing the Chinese, overload.
I noticed that too.
GE 90 has it's own dedicated fan club.❤❤
Those 90's are monsters.
GE-90 melody 😎💪🏻
GE9X is coming...and it is a behemoth. One of those babies puts out as much thrust as 3 F-22s at full afterburner. Over 105,000 lbs per engine.
Wow. Will it replace the ge90's on the 777 or is it for a new plane?
@@pkal244 New airplane: the 777X family (777-8, 777-9 and maybe the 777-10)
I read the GE9X have a larger diameter than a Boeing 737.
I use to love the sound of the engines on the 747-400 at take off. That High buzzing ringing sound of power. I loved watching them take off from the parking lot outside the SFO runways in the 70’s & 80’s
Music to my ears..... perfect remedy at this time cuz i really miss looking and listening to those engines roaring from my seat :”)
Designed to have a more silent sound, but recognized as one of the most beautiful engine sound plane in the world!
I will never forget the takeoff with the 777-300ER.. What a blast..
Awesome video man. Those B777s are loud for sure.
This is one of the best videos (ever!) to capture the beautiful music of the GE90!
A gorgeous plane.
Mooie storm tijdens de take off. Ziet er leuk uit al het regen wordt weggeblazen!
That Delta really blasted out of there with that roar!!!
Good engine. We're so lucky we have engineers at RR and GE, pushing the boundaries to provide these brilliant powerplants. Power + fuel efficiency.
Sweet Sweet sound. Boeing &GE. Oh ya. No one better
When I hear the GE90-115b I'm like *"Oh yeah"*
WOW woderful engine sound! thank you for this video B777 best plane!
A few years ago C5 Galaxy s would come here to do touch and goes here every few days. Back then my son was about 10 or 11. There was a small road basically right at the end of the main runway. We parked right there The sound of those are amazing, and watching the things coming straight at you was something else.
My son joined the ROTC . After watching those for so long one day they gave them a ride in one. He retired from the Navy last year after 20 years.
The GE-90 Engines sound Great.
Listen to the great RR Trent sound!
Sorry. I couldn't resist it.
Great video and my respects to
General Electric. 👍
But I do love the sound of the Trent 800. Also an amazing powerplant
I feel like 777 gets the best engines. GE90 and Trent 800 sound sooooo gooood
I never get sick of watching these fabulous machines
I did think that the RR Trent was the most powerful commercial jet engine but I suppose Boeing should know.
Fantastic video! Good work.
Thanks for posting.
That RAWR POWER from that first growling KLM 772 was bloody fantastic to listen to.
The Delta wasn't an -200LR with GE-90's, in fact, a -200ER with RR engines.
The RR engines definitely have a distinctively different sound compared to the GE's or P&W's.
I love the Boeing 777 and the beautiful sound of the GE-50!
These 777 takes off with less effort. Massive respect to GE 90 engines powering these beauties.
God dang I LOVE the sound of these beasts!
Uuuuuunlimited Power!
