Guitar #2: Understanding How To Play With Your Right Hand (and TUNE!)

You want to make sure you're developing good technique with your right hand, and try to work towards playing without looking at it as soon as you can. Focus on learning what it feels like. Aside from making you play better it frees your eyes up to look at visual resources or at your fellow musicians for cues!

NOTE ABOUT NUMBERING STRINGS
When counting strings it's generally standard practice to count from the highest pitched (thinnest string) to the lowest pitched (thickest string). So from low to high the strings go E A D G B e, but from high to low they go e B G D A E. The second order would be labeled string 1 2 3 4 5 6 generally. We feel that this can be confusing, so we generally just talk about the strings by name rather than using numbers since that can be a bit counterintuitive.
