Although the first half of the video sounded like a scripted ad for surefire and most of the video was mostly basic info, thanks for taking the time to do everything and thanks for the video. Thumbs up from me for the video and the 2A algorithm on yt Edit: what hamdguard is that? Looks good
Sean, I know, when I like something I like it! I can't find that Hand Guard, it came as part of a kit. The Hand Guard, is Modified to 8", CMMG RML11 AR-15 11" M-Lok Handguard (As Part Of CMMG's New Family Of Free Floating Handguards. Based On Their Popular RKM Handguards. CMMG's RML Handguards Features M-Lok At The 3, 6, And 9 O'clock Locations To Allow The User To Mount Various Accessories.) I appreciate the comments! - Stiles
I have a Surefire mini scout light pro. I want to change out the the M-LOK mount for the supplied rail mount but I cannot for the life of me get the M-LOK mount off to do that. I've unscrewed the hinge screw all the way and it still does not pull out. I have a tech support request into Surefire but they have not responded (yet). I thought you might be able to help me. Any advice?
Michael, Like I stated in the video, the Screw threads into an Insert, but the Insert is made elliptical (not round anyway) and I think the Insert is pinned. So the Insert shouldn't be a problem turning. I think the Screw to Hole clearance is just so tight, you need to use more force. Press it out or get under the Screw Head with a Flat Screwdriver. Be careful, I would hate for you to mess up your expensive Light. Let me know how it goes! - Stiles
@@StilesAutomotive I got it! Upon close examination, I noticed the screw was just barely touching one of the rims on the battery compartment. Opening and removing the battery compartment allowed the screw to be removed and PRESTO! I have a short video showing this that I can send to you (can't post it here). Thank you, Sir!
You should move the light back a little bit. The pressure switch will definitely improve your hand placement and use of the flashlight in the event you had to use it. 👍🏻
JOS, Of course its an individual preference thing, but I love comments like yours, very helpful. Someone else commented on the Pressure Switch, that I would definitely like it and worth the money. I have the Pressure Switch (and did a video, link below) and I would (now) say don't put a Light on your Rifle in this configuration without the Pressure Switch, it's that good! - Stiles SUREFIRE Rail Mount Dual Switch with UE Tailcap for Scout Light Pro, Review & Installation ua-cam.com/video/VSzZ87iV9m0/v-deo.html
Swap to the other side til you get a press pad. Make sure to get genuine SF pad tho, that wadsan generic stuff either wont fit or doesn't carry the flow of electricity properly. Sorta restricts the power output and wont be as bright. Difference between 40/50$ and 100/150$. Buy once cry once. Dont make the same mistakes i did trying to find economical ways around quality. Doesn't work well with SF products
Brian, These are great tips! I did buy the Surefire Pad Switch and did a video on it, as well. I would love to hear your comments on that video (see link below). Do you have any experience with these $20 Red Dots and cheap Scopes on amazon? My thought is, I'm not buying a hundred of them, I'm buying one or two, spend the money and buy the quality. Like you say the cheap Pad Switch is tempting, but you suffer for it. I appreciate the comment. - Stiles SUREFIRE Rail Mount Dual Switch with UE Tailcap for Scout Light Pro, Review & Installation ua-cam.com/video/VSzZ87iV9m0/v-deo.html

When you get the turbo, it'll surely surprise you. Amazing the difference between the pro and pro tubo.
Brian, Seems like the Turbo Pro just has a wider beam. What do you like about it? - Stiles

Did it come with a piccatiny attachment version too?
Ramiro, Yes, it came with both the Picatinny Rail and the M-LOK versions. - Stiles
Just stumbled across your video looking at lights… My last name is Stiles also, where are you from?
Stiles, Stiles . . . Stiles, I feel like I'm repeating myself, is there more than one of you? I'm from Minnesota originally. And you? - Stiles

I got a muzzle shadow it’s nothing serious but annoying
Matt, I think a little shadow is ok, you want to keep the Light, both back a little and in close to the Handguard. - Stiles
