welp, another one of these youtube essay videos where they get low views with comments praising the channel for being underrated, and then like 5 months later youtube decides to send the video into the algorithmic stratosphere. common trope of modern youtube, and I'm cravin' it.
Yeah seems to sum it up basically, except it’s only been a few weeks I think. Right now the UA-cam gods have actually decided to promote my video about scary images far more than this one so that’s cool haha
It’s called over saturation. There are so many “good” channels out there nowadays, that they can’t all be extremely popular and make it to the top. Stay in school, little buddy
I don’t understand how you’re not a ne of those channels who is really up there in popularity, the quality, the mic, everything about your channel deserves recognition. Here’s a sub for ya
Thank you so much! I found it funny you praised the mic since i just tried to create a recording studio out of a default laptop mic, a box shaped shelf and a bunch of hoodies. Glad to hear it worked haha!
It's a bit unnerving that some GMOD maps have an endless void if you decide to no clip through the floor and then hit the walk button again, only to continue falling and seeing the map get smaller and smaller until there is nothing left
Yeah it’s like in Minecraft the void kills you if you fall too far down, but to be honest I find it more scary when nothing happens, you just drift away
I’ve always had a fear for the out of bounds. Even when I accidentally clip out in a harmless game like Euro Truck Simulator 2, I always have a feeling of being watched.
ok I clicked on this video expecting this man to have over 10 million subs, but no they are an extremely underrated youtuber who makes good quality content. Bro I hope you pursue your dream of becoming a youtuber keep up the good work man.
Thank you so much! Complimenting my voice is so nice since I can’t afford a nice microphone so I’ve had to make do with trying to sort out the “audio levels” in my throat instead of software haha.
Welp, it looks like I found myself another small UA-cam channel with a very high production quality. I'll be subscribing just in case UA-cam decides to bless you with its algorithm.
This doesn’t only have 282 views, right? It’s just a glitch…right? Dude, seriously…. I’m sharing this channel with my (few) friends and telling em to spread it ‘round. This is so awesome to listen to.
282!!? Last I checked it was more like 160 haha. But seriously thank you so much! As a smaller channel any exposure I can get helps a tonne. You have no idea how much this makes my day :)
Just a quick tip for the future: don't steal a thumbnail and title from a video on the same topic by another channel. Not only it makes you look lazy, but also if the other channel is bigger, their video will pop up before yours.
Yeah I can see how it looks like that. I'd already gone really heavy with the CRT effect in my video by the time I made my thumbnail but when I found his video I saw the huge thumbnail similarity. I actually changed the game image to distinguish them more since it used to be a landscape shot. Still, I think his thumbnail is really awesome compared to mine and if anyone hasn't watched it already you should check out his video. But yeah I see why you feel that way but I believe mine's different enough that I can call it my own creation :)
This is incredibly high quality work, the editing and your voice has wonderful variety that other channels dont really have, great video! Definitely excited to see more from this channel :)
Oddly similar to another video by the Curse Judge - Why is the Out of Bounds so Terrifying. Uploaded about a year before this video. Similar style and thumbnail too, what a crazy coincidence.
In the game "The voices of the void" i found out how to clip out of the sandbox and into the out of bounds, while I was exploring i felt uneasy, a dark figure appeared and crashed my game, apparently it's a feature, called fridge
Something very similar to this was the exact inspiration for this whole video! I can't remember exactly where it's from, but there was a game from the last decade or so where if you went into the outer bounds a shadow would appear on a nearby wall only a couple frames before your game would crash, and even the devs weren't sure what was happening. It sounds crazy and I don't know how true any of it is, but it got me interested lol
@@BeforeYouClick Mhmm, it makes you want to look for yourself. Curiosity, it's right next to Fear when you delve into certain unsettling topics. You are so so curious, so eager to find out the truth behind things, but also so afraid of what you'll find.

Your channel is very underrated! The quality of your mic, editing, etc sounds so professional
I appreciate that!
The transitions were extremely good, you’re talented. I’m surprised you don’t have more subscribers.
Thank you so much, that means a lot :)

Not expect that 582 sub channel can make this great video keep at it!
Wow, thanks!
Hope you get the recognition you deserve!
Thank you so much! The recognition I'm getting now makes me feel over the moon!
Really enjoyed this, crazy how we are drawn to the unknown
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. It is weird isn’t it how counter intuitive it is for us to be drawn that stuff that’s dangerous and scary
I’ve always had a fear for the out of bounds. Even when I accidentally clip out in a harmless game like Euro Truck Simulator 2, I always have a feeling of being watched.
Yeah it's strange how a scary a comforting game can become, given the right circumstances.
Always love when UA-cam recommends me videos from small creators with such talent. Keep up the good work! :D
Thank you so much! I appreciate your positivity towards smaller creators, that's rarer than you think :)
Beautiful Video.
Thank you very much!
Excellent video. I'm surprised this video isn't more popular.
I absoutly LOVE the idea of liminal spaces and being out of bounds and stuff. Its fascinating. Good video!
Me too!

Thank you 👍

I'm a little late to find this but i gotta say this is a masterpiece of a video thank you!!!
Wow thank you! I don't know if I'd call it a masterpiece exactly but thank you! :)
i can see you going very far on youtube. the editing and audio are superb, and your voice is perfect for these videos. keep it up!

good job!

Cool video! What's the name of a game with a low-poly liminal space corridors? 02:50
"Dream Logic", or at least I think that's what it was called.
Experiencing out of bounds in a world where you are intended to submerse yourself in is exactly what unsettles.
Yeah! It's just like a photo with flat lighting. It doesn't look right. It's everything you experience all the time, but where are the shadows??
