Finally if social workers are trying to work with you on either finding permanent housing or other business of such matters then how can they say their invading their privacy?! In all technicalities they are not citizens of our country and they dont want to be citizens of the country that they fled from. So theyre really citizens of nowhere, they may be entitled to basic human rights but not really the rights of the citizens of our country.
Normally I wouldn't say such things. I know our country is one built by migrates. But when we're not able to take care of our own citizens then we have no business to be welcoming or allowing individuals who do not enter the country legally.
I used to never have really an opinion on this but when I was involved in a horrible domestic violence situation and needed to support from my state just to survive they flat out told me that because I am a citizen born in the US I wasn't eligible to receive aid. Its only available to immigrants not to the people that were born here and actually paid taxes for such programs to exist. That was the moment i realized how screwed up it truly is. When our country decides to protect and house individuals who aren't actually a part of it we have a serious problem!

No one should be treated like an animal or criminal whether you feel they deserve to be here or not.
