Same with me. I'm a veteran and disabled. I recently lost my left leg. I earn so little on social security that I have to get rent help from the city. If it weren't for that I would be homeless. Now the Chinese are coming across the border from the North and the south.
I have family that lives on the MEX side of the border. They tell me these migrants are freaking disrespectful. You're correct they are being told that good things are waiting for them. The people working at these Migrant camps in Mex are frustrated that USA is encouraging to come. Some of them are even denying and throwing stuff back at Mexicans that are trying to help. What I don't understand is why didn't they stop in any of the countries in between Venezuela and the US? I mean, they didn't go to Panama, Ecuador, Columbia, Honduras, Guatemala, the entire Carribbean, Trinidad...all of which are closer than the US before coming here. This insane. Im an Hispanic American and for some reason these immigrants that are here are antagonizing me! I work as a beer merchandizer and I told this one guy we didn’t have any his preferred beer in Spanish because he didn’t know English. He walked away and said I was a “Baboso Tejano bueno por nada” which translates to “Good for nothing Tex-Mex Bastard”. Like wtf?! I’m Hispanic too. We are in need of a lot of help as Black people in the States. The migrant situation is not only Venezuelans, there are Dominicans in the mix too. The hotels are not only in Manhattan where the migrants are being placed. They're using the fleabag hotels in the "hood" near main routes used by truckers. It's not completely the mayor's fault. The migrants were bussed into NYC. Mayor Adams can't control that. As a mayor he has to do something. The mayor is at the mercy of the policies of the Biden Administration. At the same time, Mayor Adams must be loyal to the same party he's affiliated with. I'm an independent voter, but the true source of the migrant problem is from the Biden Administration reversing all of Trump's policies via executive decisions. And one of those major policies he reversed was immigration. And boom, here we are. The true problem about this country is that we've all gone pure tribal and support the policies of the party we support. And that's the true source of the problems we have. I have lived in NYC for 42 years. It is my personal opinion that Mayor Adams himself is the problem of NYC having to deal with these migrants. All he had to do was turn those buses with immigrants on them back around and send them back where they came from in Texas or Florida. We are in need of a lot of help as Black people in the States. The migrant situation is not only Venezuelans, there are Dominicans in the mix too. The hotels are not only in Manhattan where the migrants are being placed. They're using the fleabag hotels in the "hood" near main routes used by truckers. These hotels were heavily used by prostitutes in the surrounding area. For example, in the East New York section of Brooklyn there's one such hotel being used to house Hispanic migrants. They may have this going on throughout the 5 boroughs.

It's not completely the mayor's fault. The migrants were bussed into NYC. Mayor Adams can't control that. As a mayor he has to do something. The mayor is at the mercy of the policies of the Biden Administration. At the same time, Mayor Adams must be loyal to the same party he's affiliated with. I'm an independent voter, but the true source of the migrant problem is from the Biden Administration reversing all of Trump's policies via executive decisions. And one of those major policies he reversed was immigration. And boom, here we are. The true problem about this country is that we've all gone pure tribal and support the policies of the party we support. And that's the true source of the problems we have. The majority have made choices to place some of these individuals in office for voting for them. Both parties need to sit down and focus on what's good for the people. I'm definitely not down with migrants throwing objects at US citizens regardless of racial or ethnic background. The main problem is that the US has lost its nerve and self-respect and people outside the US know this. That's why we have the problems we're facing right now.

I have lived in NYC for 42 years. It is my personal opinion that Mayor Adams himself is the problem of NYC having to deal with these migrants. All he had to do was turn those buses with immigrants on them back around and send them back where they came from in Texas or Florida. No matter how much Mayor Adams points the finger at the federal government Adams is not doing all that he can to stop the illegal migration into NYC. NYC has it own problems of homelessness, drugs, crime etc. Turn those freakin' buses around and stop receiving those illegal migrants.
