Leah Rose talks with Steve Blum and Wendee Lee (Spike and Fay from Cowboy Bebop) about the voice acting world and their thoughts when attending anime conventions.
Wow Wendee bravo. I hate Celebrity voice actors too unless you're someone like Lacey Chebert but those guys make characters who they are. I don't see the point in celebrities lending their voice to something when the goal is to see them and their performance as actors in addition to taking the work from VAs who eat breathe and sleep voice acting

Swan started working in voice acting in 1987, prior to that, she ran a Fitness Club with her young husband as a youthful 80s yuppie. Blum started in 1989. Both also did voice overs for SEGA ads,(Blum was the "Blast Processing" guy and Swan was the Female "Dreamcast Voice" who whispered "It's Thinking". One of Wendee's earliest Anime dubs was Swiss Family Robinson in 1988. Her debut was in Robotech.

I have a lot of respect for Mr. Blum and Ms. Lee.
They are both the 2 MOST prolific Anime and VG voice actors in history. Name an Anime or Video Game, chances are, they're in there.

Steve and Wendee are both amazing legends when in comes to voices. I wish Steve could voice as Zed in League of Legends.
Steve and Wendee both rocketed to anime stardom with Cowboy Bebop.
They both also rocked as Kyohei and Kasane in Durarara!!, respectively.
