Miku still sings lead sometimes. Usually she has one track per album where she is solo vocalist. She does one ore two every serving (what they call their concerts). Miku's solo tracks are "Summer Drive" "Big Dad" "Beauty and the Beast" "Time" "Rock In Me" "Sayonakidori" (Nightingale) "Brightest Star" She also has a solo project under the name Cluppo. Miku said the genre of Cluppo is 'Hippy-Pop-Po'!
@@melvinthinks Here is Miku singing "Sayonakidori" Acoustic version official live. Notice Akane on backing vocals! This is from their 2021 Xmas Day Acoustic performance! Enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/sGzAQigaL14/v-deo.html
Seeing the Maids live and up close in a small, intimate club is a "Thrill" of a lifetime. One should consider themselves lucky to experience them like this because it's becoming rare. And as for sound... it'll be the best hard rockin' sound you can imagine -- clear, discreet, powerful and full of energy and joyful vibes! (And no compression!! ;-) Just ask anyone who's experienced them live. In fact, we've been getting an earful of "wow's" and "that was incredible" from all the reactors and commenters from their successful 2022 & 2023 Band-Maid USA Tours. Rock on, Mel!
Cheers Tom! Would be cool to seem them live if they hit the UK at a festival or tour in the future. I think they're great and super fun to watch and listen to. Can't help but smile whilst experiencing a band like this.
Nothing in sight to loathe. Every song you listen to becomes your favorite. Enjoy the ride ... oh oh - suggestions .... Try "Warning" MV but you might wanna sit down for that one - then again, it'll blow you off your chair anyway.
I L-o-v-e Miku's vocals! Don't get me wrong, Saiki is absolutely stellar, but I like Miku's softer, more poppy voice now and then. 'Rock in me' is still my favorite Miku song 😎🤘
This is the MV that saved the band from being dropped by their label. It went viral and the rest is history. Try MANNERS, it's more like a stoner rock anthem.
Hahaha! You're welcome 😁 Not a former boxer, but based upon my weaving around the microphone, maybe I should try it one day. Perhaps a UA-cam charity match with Logan Paul or KSI 🤣
Of the dozen or 2 songs I've heard from them, it's still my favorite. Love Misa's solo, her bass is my favorite part of their music. One of the older songs, and the one to save them from having to quit. If you watch closely, you'll see Miku barely touches her guitar, she really didn't know how to play then. Kanami helped her to learn, and she is an excellent rhythm player today. I'm with you, most of the rock/metal I listen to are female fronted or all female.(Band Maid, LOVEBITES, Nemophila, Nightwish, EPICA, Jinjer, Spiritbox, Within Temptation, Halestorm, The Warning. Could go on all day , but you get the idea. LOL)
I'm with you on this one, Chris. I've listened to their first two albums once through since I made this video, but Thrill just rocks hard! Check out Employed To Serve if you haven't already. I made a video for them last year. Another female fronted band, but from the UK.
If you want to hear an excellent song the showcases both vocalist, Freezer is a great song. The trade off they do in it is amazing. Hide and Seek and Hibana are also excellent.
They are AC/DC-quality riff-meisters. Try instrumental _BAND-MAID / onset (Official Live Video)_ for shredding, tapping, thrashing and Misa slapping. Akane is the second happiest drummer ever (after Yoyoka ①). Best Wishes. ☮ For the happiest drummer ever, watch: _Good Times Bad Times - LED ZEPPELIN / Cover by Yoyoka , 8 year old_ ua-cam.com/video/91pz1E8pAOY/v-deo.html Robert Plant was delighted by her joy! Great reaction and the vocals are for me just another great instrument in the composition. Lyrics tend to distract and with Japanese, since I can't understand what they are saying, I just listen to the sounds. You might try getting your partner to listen to Band-Maid as their music makes everyone happy and fosters closeness :D
I wholeheartedly agree with you Glen. It wasn't my original intention, but I've listened to a lot of non-English music on this channel. As you say, the annunciation and sounds are the key. If it sounds good, who cares! I remember listening to The Hu. Great example.

I really like Miku's vocal. So I'll be sure to check out these track listings. Nice one Davey 👍

Reminds me a bit of Mayu and Nemophila - if they were to play an acoustic song.

Cool!
❤ it! 👍👍👍
Long time no speak 😉 It's a banging tune. Right up my alley.

If u wanna talk about women running the rock scene ''in this moment'' is the best
Ooooh. Not heard of these before. Following a quick Google search, I'll add them to my list. Nice one!
Sick like me Good song by in this moment
Talk about great musianship on all fronts!!!
Bro, I can tell you’re as hooked as I am. I freakin love them! Great Great band. And … Misa Misa Misa!
Soooooooo good!!! I've not heard a bad song yet and I haven't even touched the surface.

That's why I stand up when I make reaction videos to them. There's no way I'd be able to sit still! lol

My partner said the same, Jonas. That she likes Miku's vocal the best. I think they're both great and it's a nice dilemma for the band to have 😁
They are simply two voices that complement each other.
I concur
"Don't You Tell ME" official live video is their latest release.
THE best Hard Rock band in the universe. And in any parallel ones too.
Not only the saviors of hard rock, but also of partnerships? Well, I think the ladies will like that too. 😂👍🏻
Band Maid! 🔥 Classic ingredients. Brand new dish.
I'm still hungry for more though 🤣

Love a bit of stoner rock 🤟
