He's made many a bad acting choice, but I love him in How I Met Your Mother so much that I forgive him for every one of them - that being said, if you haven't seen A Million Ways to Die in the West, and want to consider him an actor with *some* dignity left intact, don't watch it...

It's like being in an Adam Sandler film, it'll be bad, but you'll have fun and won't leave any black marks on your acting record... if anything, it's more of an honor. Saying that A Million Ways is a film that killed careers is like saying that anyone that guest voiced in Family Guy murdered their career, lol.
@@motodog242 no, no, his career’s fine, I’m not trying to say it killed anything. West is just a terrible comedy, and some might find themselves wondering why on Earth Neil decided to do it. Though I think he’s just that kind of guy to do everything, so again, my love for him in HIMYM stops me from judging him too harshly from that - and the over-the-top style of comedy, which Neil’s excelled at before, could’ve worked in that movie if things had just gone a bit differently, imo. No hate to, or genuine fear for, anyone that worked on that film.

Mostly unrelated but I saw this movie in theaters in the 5th grade. They gave us blue sunscreen to paint our faces. All the kids ended up smearing the blue paste all over the seats and floors. The movie theater employees had to clean that shit up between each showing of the movie. Every time I see this movie I think of the poor employees who had to wipe up smurf shit every couple of hours

my first time seeing "blue waffle" was in a high school science class. now i gotta pass by the blue raspberry eggo waffles at work every day, and i always think back to that legendary moment of my youth
my grandma called them "the smurts" lol. anytime we'd go to grandmas for thanksgiving and the smurfs were on my dad would be like "hey mom the smurts are on". the show was made in the 60s i think and back then you could get away with making a kids cartoon about blue things trying to be caught and eaten by a balding man and his cat.
the reason we don't have cool kids shows like this anymore is because people in general are too sensitive, pathetic, and easily offended these days.
I've never heard if them referred to as Imps before, but it makes a lot of sense. XD
The cartoon was made in the 80s actually (the Peyo comics date before that, though), and I'm pretty sure you could make a cartoon with a similar premise now so idk what you mean by getting away with it lol-
