Don't forget that in season 1.7 Marco was still in the process of coming to the state he said that one takes bribes(are high$$$) so if that's the case he owes money to people that are loan sharks because they are broke 🤔 and Thony would not send money to him and didn't want him here 😉but Marco is to Stupid to realize if he doesn't pay they come for you and your family. ..
I cried with her too 😭 this woman went above and beyond to do whatever she could to save her son's life, even to the point where she fell in love with another man that help her save Luca's life. Marco is about to get it bad. Can't wait for Season 2
Marco may be broke and irresponsible at times but he got them an extra $5,000 when she actually needed it,he was getting cheated on,and im pretty sure since thony has the money her home is gonna get raided a few times by the cops or by the mob.I can see why he took him better safe than sorry
Thony one and only priority was saving her son's life no matter what she had to do. I'm not saying the steps she took where right, but whether it was right, wrong or indifferent she came to the US to save her son alone, whether Marco was waiting to be approved for a Visa or not he did nothing for his wife or son while they where in the US, sent no money, etc. another man step up to the plate to help her save her son.
