Thony one and only priority has been her son, at one point in her marriage she still had love for her husband, but Marco was mostly the cause of their marriage fading(gambling, stealing $$$, bribes, etc) she showed no emotion what so ever, so that right there tells you that Marco has been out of Thony heart for a long time.
Man, is Thony ever going to get a victory in her life that doesn’t come at a cost

I get Thony was already not in love with Marco anymore but come on - that's the father of your son. At least show some compassion a bit. Also anyone noticed the background song is a cheerful/hopeful song? 😂 It's like Marco's out of the way now
I get what you're saying, I'm sure Marco was a good father to his son, but where was the compassion for his wife, I like to believe that Thony tried to be a good wife to her husband, it seems like hubby didn't make it easy for her, As I repeat, her one and only priority was there son, now with him out the way, hopefully Mom and Son can see some cheerfulness and hope in their lives. (Just Saying)
To be fair to Thony, she's in damage control mode here, trying to get them all out of this situation safely, covering up the accident, and putting on a believable front with Garrett. Later, we'll see her grieve, see her remorse for the way things ultimately played out with Marco. I don't interpret the background song as cheerful/hopeful. I think the song is bittersweet, wistful: it talks about two lovers who's paths ultimately diverged and whatever time they had together is now past, they can't go back. However much they may have wanted things to work out differently, the world had other plans. I interpret it as a song about loss, change and letting go. I think it was a fitting farewell song for Thony's final goodbye to Marco.
@@englitstudent1518 This women has endured a great deal in her life, by leaving a successful career as a surgeon back in her country, looking after her family in the states, no idea whether her husband was supportive in Thony decision making as far as there family is concern, cause Marco has his own personal issues, overall when it came down to there son, healthy or sick he was one and only priority, period!!

@@yehyeh4044 Thony did not kill Marco her nephew Chris killed his Uncle, and yes once Thony get the nerve to be honest with her son and tell him the truth about his father's death it will be up to Luca to forgive her or not,and as far as the song is concern it was talking about the good and bad times in there lives, obviously cheerful and hope where wrong choice of words (My Bad) have a beautiful day.
