Overcoming an opioid addiction with VA support

Jerry, an Air Force Veteran, developed an addiction to the painkillers that he was prescribed after heart surgery. At first, he couldn’t shake his addiction, and his treatment programs weren’t working. But with the help of VA and “tough love” from his partner, he got sober.
