Story mainly focuses on critically analysing the Contingency Plans of Batman which he created to neutralise the Justice League. In the story I explain how each Contingency Plan of Batman focuses on the individual weaknesses of Justice League Members. Further, how Vandal Savage changed Batman’s Plans into more deadly ones bringing Death to the Justice League.

I don't think batman's plan for Manhunter was to have him burned alive or at least to that extent. Maybe encase his surroundings in fire of something to stop him.

Superman still trusts Batman though and asked, since Batman had contingency plans to stop all the of the League members if they ever go rogue, then he must have a plan to stop himself
and Batman replies that the Justice League is his contingency plan to stop himself, showing that he trusts his comrades to do the right thing in the name of greater good if it comes down to it

I've always wondered, in both the comic and this short movie, how the villain was aware of Batman's contingency plans. It's not like he made it obvious or ever spoke about it before hand.
Vandal Savage is cunning, it would be in his nature to simply assume Bats would have such plans... and be correct.

@@benkayvfalsifier3817 It's not "convenient" nor is it lazy. The producers expect the viewers to be at the very least some what familiar with the characters. VS is thousands of years old and highly intelligent, he undoubtedly would know how Batman (among others) operates. He's seen similar people do similar things throughout the ages... in fact, it's something VS would probably do himself.

@@benkayvfalsifier3817 He wasn't looking to create "contingency plans" in this case, he was looking to take the JLA out, and using Bat's plans sows enough confusion to keep them off his trail long enough for those attacks to come to fruition. What you should be asking is why Bats didn't have a contingency plan to take Vandal Savage out.

And Flash with all his speed thinking, didn't think that a hole just large enough to put his hand through may not be a trap?? I would have grabbed Mirror Master the moment he said what would happen if I stopped moving.
Someone should explore whether these plans were actually executable if the heroes went rogue. Example, Flash's plan required him to be tricked into helping someone and caring it would explode on people. If he turned rogue, why would he care? Green Lantern, if he went rogue why would he be so grieve strucken? Would the psychological aspect be as effective on these heroes as rogues or "mind controlled?" These plans require them to still care and be heroes. What were Batman's original protocol for execution?
Savage most likely modified the plans to play in the heroes current morals and to make them more lethal.
Originally, batman just planned on using fear toxin to nullify GL and make him think he is blind.
Placing a kinetic trap on the inside of a safe that flash plans on robbing is how that bomb would get stuck on him.
As for the others. VS just modified the plans slightly to make them more lethal.

Question. How the HECK does a life imprisonment sentence work on someone with an indefinite lifespan? He's most certainly going to outlive the current justice system.
He will still stay there, that easy. It doesn't matter if a criminal outlives the court that sentenced him, he will just stay there. Most likely he will still try to escape but then another hero will catch him and another court will sentence him

I never understand in DC movies and shows why people get mad at Batman for contingency plans or underhanded tactics. Because every time I've seen it happen, Batman was right about whatever was going on.

In the comics, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash wanted to keep Batman in the league. They are smart enough to know that an out of control JL would be dangerous and they need a plan, in case it happens.
the funny part is, not sure if its from this or in the comics (it was the tower of babel story line), after batman says that the justice league is the contingency plan for batman supes says "but if you know all our weaknesses how is the justice league supposed to be the contingency plan for the batman" i cant remember what happened but it think batman was like he believes in them or just shrugs it off later we learn he has a contingency plan for himself if he goes rogue and its called failsafe i aint gonna explain it since its pretty short read it yourself that is one of the coolest comics ever

Superman can also be weakened by red solar radiation. Not only that, but if he's not within the distance of the yellow sun he loses his powers.
Btw it's stated in Injustice 2 even red solar radiation can't hold him. Even without yellow sun , Superman can absorb other forms of radiation and get other powers (he absorbed negative radiation in apokolpis and became negative Superman). Kryptonite is the only thing that can actually weaken his powers
If I'm remembering correctly, in the comics, Supermans fate was actually far more grim.
I think they used some strange form of (potentially artificial) Kryptonite that essentially turned Supermans skin translucent, meaning the solar radiation passing through his skin wasn't dulled or diluted in any way and instead became super concentrated, like focusing sunlight through a magnifying glass. It was like his entire body, even his internal organs, were getting the most intense sunburn imaginable, which was pure agony for him and basically rendered him unable to move because of the pain.
You mispronounced kryptonite. I remember actually watching the movie. One thing I wondered about is why they thought they had to use a Kryptonite laser scalpel because the Kryptonite bullet that was already in his chest should have weakened Superman enough for ordinary medical tools to remove it

If you look at this movie and "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies", they made Kryptonite poison Superman but not instantly remove all his powers and abilities (which never made much sense to me) so it's not an instant win button.

Its a great lighthearted (except contingency plans of course) movie, animated DC doesn't disappoint😊
The LIVE DC movie bosses should've watch a couple of these animated DC movies as a guide for the DCEU movie universe because they're SO GOOD.
Amazing they are made for WAY less than the live movies, yet have more intelligence, are cohesively scripted and don't spend their time stop and staring.

Probably one of the best lines I've heard from the movie.
Now imagine how different things would have been, if even one of the JLA members had died because of this.

This is easily one of my favorite movies of all time and probably is my favorite comic book movie. So many great batman moments, an interesting story, good moments from all the heroes and villains involved, and well done fight scenes. I have no complaints and could gush all day. That being said, I really want more versions of this arc our there. The batman kinda did it in one of its season 4 arcs, but it wasn't nearly as good and altered it quite a bit to fit the shows narrative.

Even though the comics had a much more insane backup plan, I think having the entire Justice League as his check does somewhat make sense when you account for the fact that half of them can kill him without even him knowing. Superman? Orbital death beam. Flash? With a decent writer, he'd be dead in a second. Martian Manhunter? Turns him into a vegetable.

Nah all of those batman from dark multiverse already beat all of their justice league, batman trusting that justice league can stop him is actually showing us how he still trust other and can be naive as other people (or he only say that to superman so superman doesn't need to think it over). of everyone in the Justice League, Batman is right about his actions. everyone has a weakness and those weaknesses can be exploited in a way to temporarily stop them under the event that even one member ends up turning evil on their own or by mind control. this isnt a breach of trust, they were trying to breach his trust thinking his contingency plans were unacceptable

Why is Batman always the focus of these superhero movies? I get that he's human and has no powers and is more relatable, but I prefer Green Lantern? He has no superpowers, just a ring that will create whatever he can think of. His whole skillset is completely dependent on mental focus/control and being able to have a clear mind in the heat of battle, but he's more of a cocky joke character.
