As an aficionado of Jazz, Rock, Metal, etc; this makes me smile. So many bands out there like to put Jazz/fusion in their title to get you to click. I'm often disappointed by the lack of "jazz." This takes the cake. Nice grooves, subtle jazz chord changes, wah guitar, it's like a big psychedelic jazz love fest! I LOVE these guys!
this is testament to the amount of musical camaraderie/expression available to people that 1.) can play their instrument 2.) know each other well as friends 3.) can access that other intangible basement telepathy that only comes with time. i don't think my old band ever sounded this outwardly good and seductive but at my age, i feel i know the identifiers. bravo.
Incredible. I could only imagine what this would be like with more jazz, a horn player maybe. But their sound is great all in all. Will definitely be following this group from here on out.
