Even though the NHL didn’t list criteria other than the players had to have played on the team after Jan 1 2000, they have followed two trends: 1) forwards are not slotted by position (look at Anaheim’s second team), and 2) they’re considering what those players did for the team during that time period. That being the case, my forwards look like this:
First team: Giroux, Gagne, Voracek
Second team: Konecny, Richards, Simmonds
Lindros, Recchi and LeClair made more of an impact in the 90s, which is why I left them off. Honorable mentions to Coots, Carter, Briere and Hartnell.

Thanks for the show Rachel and Russ. I see that Torts has another year to go on his contract. That's frustrating to come to terms with. The team has stalled in its rebuild, and will continue to flounder while he's the coach. Would you be willing to look at what this off-season coming up may bring to the team? I just don't see much of a change happening. Plus, rotating the Russians in goal worked before, why not rotate them again? Let Errson sort his health issues out and decide which goalies will stick with the team next season. Win-win, if you are going to carry 3 goalies all season long.
