    One thing I’d love is maybe at the end of each game review you have like a couple of sentence commentary on what you thought about how each team played. Id love hearing your actual input on the games!

      Yes I would agree in that Shannon lets the numbers drive 90% of his analysis which can be quite dry, but compare that to the other clickbait podslop out there. Not so bad.

      He used to say something at the top of the review and sometimes he still does but not as often anymore. I don’t watch most games so it was nice to get a general consensus from him.

    Back in the early 80's the Sixers used to have Grover Washington, jr used to do the National Anthem on sax all the time. It is cool.

    The Blues/Blackhawks game felt like an 80's game without a fight. The Blues hit the post 3 times in the 2nd period alone and hit another post in the 3rd. The only penalty that was called on the Blues was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Jim Montgomery who was upset over a couple of non-calls. It was a wild, and entertaining game, for sure.

    Went to the Blues-Blackhawks tilt, sec 319 as usual. Crazy crazy crazy. Not a goaltending duel by any means. Blues fail to start on time, get down two in the first. Totally dominate the second, with three goals, going to be easy right? Wrong! Outshoot the Hawks in the third, but give up thee goals on like six shots. Manage to even the game late on a Thomas goal that just got away from Soderbloom. Good thing the ref was behind the net or he'd probably have whistled a stoppage. I couldn't see it from our angle, so I had no idea how it happened. STL controls OT, but almost lose it with 2 seconds, the puck just hits the bottom of Binnington's skate. Ten rounds of shootout. Finally got it done. Yay.

  • @csmusic432

    Not surprised Buffalo lost to Nashville. They'd beat the `76 Canadiens in a thriller then after a two-day layoff would lose three straight to the `74 Capitals-Scouts-Golden Seals. It's been that kind of year as always: consistent as jigsaw puzzle pieces in a blender.
    Can't wait for Adams to deal Cozens for a defender who'll suddenly lose the ability to defend *and* score while Cozens turns into Sam Reinhart 2.0 w/ Vegas or somewhere with palm trees and lower taxes.

    I was thamkful that I was watching the Kings-Ducks game on a small screen - otherwise I might've gotten whiplash. The pace was frenetic, and it's always fun to watch a Kings game when their broadcast crew is hyped. And they were that...I looked it up. "Dostal" in Czech translates to "biscuit thief". Rittick is no slouch either, but Dostal is on a level of his own, right up there with Hellebuyck, Shesterkin, and Vasilevsky - on their good days. And he's still a young guy...If I were a Sharks fan, I would be livid. What are they gonna do next? Move back to the Cow Palace? By the way, where's Askarov - the guy you were going to stake your team's future into? Oh, yeah. The AHL...Hockey managers seem to conveniently forget the fact that they need to sell tickets, advertising, and TV subscriptions...

    Hayes goal in the 3rd period in Philly was the biggest croc of shit I’ve ever seen. He called it off immediately cause he was going to blow the play dead before they scored which is not reviewable then changed his mind after Crosby reminded the guy in Toronto of the naked pictures that he has of him and we get a magic goalie interference call so they can review it and turn over the call. The call by the way that all 4 refs and linesmen agreed on after a side bar but that’s not good enough😂😂😂

    Kings aren’t gonna make playoffs at this rate mark my words. Sold my tickets for the game because I knew they weren’t gonna get the job done and I was 100% right. 44 shots on goal and they lose to a team with 25 shots on goal PATHETIC.
    They should be 3-12 since the new year, last 3 wins were a fluke because teams don’t treat them like a threat anymore (losing to the fucking ducks at home when you are 3 points away from dropping out of playoffs solidified that as truth)
    THG curse strikes again just like last year. Now doughty can go break his other leg in the 4 nations tournament so he can come back for the first round of playoffs and help us lose with horrible giveaways that directly lead to goals against just like he is doing now.

    Score one for the good guys! The New York Rangers keep their playoff hopes alive after Will Cuylle netted x2 to put his team over the top. The Rangers need to go 20-8 in order to make the post season. You can’t expect that with a team who is always, “Next game!”

    • @justin46132
      @justin46132 16 годин тому +1

      Cuylle actually only netted x1, the 3-3 goal was changed to Vaakanainen (tipped it net front). Either way it was a hell of a shot. Rangers actually just need to go 17-10 to make the postseason at this rate. Wings who hold the WC spot are on pace for 91 points, which means the Rangers would need at least 34 more points. They should obviously do better than that though, don't go for the bare minimum.
