And I can see that in Asian version of movie we have scenes when he doesn't hurt bad character cos she is a woman and has romantic relations with a Asian style with women a half younger than him... Typical Jackie. Then it is not a DIFFERENT role. He still is like old Jackie, his choreography is still not so real and tough and still in the way of monkey. He just plays old, tired with a flat face and tries not to use items in fight or jackets hah. Really? In this style of fight, the old man could win with young BRIT RANGER? Where is crav maga? Liam Nesson and Bourne and new Bond look at him and laugh. This movie could be better when it was about confrontation only two old man - vietkong soldier and Irish man with IRA past. Jackie as a city Rambo who won with a 50 younger bad guys is unbelievable. Maybe 10-20 years ago but not now. Imagine at his place another actor - Li, Donnie, even Sammo and especially Ford or Neeson. They with good doublers and stuntman could make a very realistic plot and fights. But Jackie doesn't want to try this way, cos not violence, not doublers (not so many heh), not new style, not his choreography...
