Hi Ron, nicely done as always. We have similar tastes and direction (I’m UK based so slightly different perspective and I only launched my channel this year). Good luck with your growth, I always enjoy your content.
Thanks Jon, I appreciate it. Best of luck with your channel as well, you got this!! Feel free to shoot me any questions you might have, I'll do my best to help 👌
Thanks @@RonKwok that’s very kind. I would really appreciate that. If you get chance to view any of the content I would really welcome any thoughts or advice. All the best Jon.
Great review. I am curious, how is cash storage between the cards vs the coin tray? I am interested in getting the Slide One which doesn't have a coin tray, but I would only do it if storing a bill or two in between cards is solid (doesn't make things lopsided or create gaps in the stack).
That's awesome man I'm glad you're getting a lot of utility out of those wallets. The blue is a great shade and gives your kit a nice pop of contrast, and when you need to go full aesthetic mode, the CF is there 👌 enjoy it!
Great wallet. I will keep it in mind for when I plan on updating my carry. I was distracted by the mechanical keyboard. Starting to look at those a little more I got distracted by this one. I saw it in the coffee shop video but I was wondering if you ever plan on covering it in the future?
Glad you enjoyed the wallet breakdown. Mechanical keyboards are crazy, the rabbit hole extends far lol. I might cover it in the future, depends on where the content takes me 👍
Great review! Pity you did not mention the thumb push though... I have read various comments online: does it work as advertised or is it difficult to use?
It depends on how sweaty your hands are LOL. My fingers are usually not sweaty at all so I have no grip with the thumb push through, so I don’t use it. There’s plenty of room to use it that way tho
Great review! Liked and subbed. I see you chose to carry the CF. Usually I go with stealth but I’m considering the blue since pure black is sold out. Surprisingly, I kind of dig the contrast between the blue, black screws, and the cf money clip. What is your opinion on the blue color in hand and the quality of the finish? Do you think it will hold up? Thanks!
Glad you like the vid, I really appreciate the support! The contrast is really refreshing once in awhile if you always default to stealth (trust me, I'm the same haha). The quality of the finish is top-notch and I believe it's durable from a daily wear and tear standpoint. In the long run though, the blue will probably wear before the CF does. I hope this helps!!
Hi! Ron I have a question, since the wallet comes from Germany taxes will not be added to you final total of the wallet, so how much did you pay in custom fees? Or did you not pay any custom fees at all?
Great review! I really like these wallets and would like to try one. How did Aviator contact you or you contact them? I am having difficulty getting a response for review on my channel and website.
Yep! From the Aviator website: 'Allows you to stylishly “fan out” up to 20 cards, store your keys, coins and even bills - all with top-of-the-line RFID protection.' Hope that helps!
@@RonKwok fantastic! I just bought the Swiss slide edition, base version, with help from your review! Went with aviator over the ridge for better functionality and card fanning. Thank you!
Just so you know. 99.9% of credit cards are no longer RFID enabled. Companies realized the flaws of contactless theft. That is why we have chip cards. Wallet companies boasting that their wallets are RFID protecting is purely to wow laymen and sell wallets, nothing more.
This was the first question I asked them, and their correspondent in Bavaria said that they offer free shipping from Germany, and ships to the continental US within one week. I'd keep in mind possible import/export shipping delays due to COVID, though I didn't experience it when they shipped to me back in March. Hope this helps!
High quality production, high quality review - you are one of the best edc channels on UA-cam.
Thanks man I really appreciate it 🙌 enjoy the videos!
Watched a lot of reviews on the ridge and aviator wallet. The aviator is definitely more engineered and was an easy choice for myself!
Nice! I really how the aviator is borderline over-engineered lol - gotta appreciate the details 🔥

I love my titanium Aviator.
Great machining and just the best for my need.

Love your videos! Really amazing video quality as always!
Thanks Finn! I appreciate your support and that you're enjoying the vids!! Take care and Live with Purpose 🙌
I love my aviator. I grabbed the same two you reviewed here. I rock the blue every day and the CF is the backup.

@@RonKwok Much appreciated 👍
Very nice review, thanks a lot and thumbs up!
Greetings from Germany.
Thanks for watching all the way from Germany! Hope the review helped you get closer to a nice wallet carry.
Monday arrived my pure black, carbon fiber cash clip and double size coin holder.
Great review
Awesome! I hope the wallet works out for you 🙌
@@RonKwok thanks
You should do a review of the Grip6 wallet. I work for Grip6 and I love our wallets.
Thanks for the suggestion Ashton, I'll keep it in mind 🙌🏼
Kwok - awesome reviewer
Kwak - awesome beer
Coincidence?
I think not 😉
You still using the aviator Ron or switched back or to something new?
I'm always switching around!
Hi! Ron I have a question, since the wallet comes from Germany taxes will not be added to you final total of the wallet, so how much did you pay in custom fees? Or did you not pay any custom fees at all?
I didn't pay any customs fees 👌
@@RonKwok cool!! thanks man nice videos!!
Thanks for the support, glad you enjoy them!
Expensive. Standard aluminum with CF loop on money belt is now $122
There are cheaper options for sure, though not with the same feature set. Have you checked out Ekster wallets?
Hi what is the brand and model of the mouse that you are using as seen in this video?
Logitech G502 Lightspeed!
Great review! I really like these wallets and would like to try one.
How did Aviator contact you or you contact them? I am having difficulty getting a response for review on my channel and website.
Thanks Kevin! The wallets are solid, definitely worth a try. Best bet is to contact them directly through their website. Best of luck!
Is this wallet RFID-capable without the added expense of buying their RFID-blocking card?
Yep! From the Aviator website: 'Allows you to stylishly “fan out” up to 20 cards, store your keys, coins and even bills - all with top-of-the-line RFID protection.' Hope that helps!

Looking at the as well as Ridge but impossible to source here in UK due to Brexit import legacy issues
That's unfortunate, Steve, I hope things clear up and you're able to get your hands on the gear you need. Thanks for watching!
Carrying only 6 flat cards.
Anyone from the USA buy one of these? any concerns with delivery delays, any charges for customs/imports?
This was the first question I asked them, and their correspondent in Bavaria said that they offer free shipping from Germany, and ships to the continental US within one week. I'd keep in mind possible import/export shipping delays due to COVID, though I didn't experience it when they shipped to me back in March. Hope this helps!
@@RonKwok Where there any additional import or customs fees you needed to pay?
Nope!
@@RonKwok took me 2 weeks to arrive ☺️
Wallet is killer! Just took delivery. Snail mail thru customs but it DID arrive. Premium build quality !!!
Not 100 percentage perfect.
Absolutely, it's all about your specific needs. The perfect wallet will be the one that's most useful to you, period. LWP!
@@RonKwok you know it's scratch on credit cards in a aviator for one-five years..
