Thanks for the amazing review! Appreciate you taking the time to give it a chance. Thanks for feedback on the screwdriver and elastic. To be honest, we built it to be incredibly durable. Should you ever have a problem with the elastic, we don't want you trying to fix it. Just send it back to us and we will fix it! Lifetime Warranty on all wallets. Have a great day!
I like the Geogrit warranty and the vertical profile, but basically, all the things you don't like about the Geogrit wallet are offerings of the Ridge. Between, the questionable money clip and no extra parts or screwdriver, I can understand why it is $20 less. They do have a lifetime warranty, so that is a plus. Great review!
I bought this and returned it right away. Idk if it was because it was new or what but when I tried to shuffle through the cards it just kept pushing all cards out. Couldn’t stand it. Maybe I just had to give it time to break in idk
Nothing made with elastic lasts long enough in a boiler mechanic's pocket. I will keep looking. Great review, but I do not think this is as durable as I need it to be for my application.
I hope they are successful with this product line, especially given that they are keeping the manufacturing process local. It may be that they do not currently offer screwdrivers and elastic replacements because they plan on dealing with that via warranty exchange.
Ridge wallet.. you can only use it if sober.. that too iys difficult to get to the middle ones.. if drunk you lose all yours card.. been there... secrid all the way
So it can’t be a Ridge wallet killer because it’s the same price? This is made here in the US and just as quality and functional. So people should buy this instead…Which in turn kills the Ridge wallet. Are you new to the internet? Have a nice day
@@ChrispyThings to make something a killer of something else there has to be something of big significance. I'd as if you were new to common sense but you would have to have some first.
Exactly my thought process. While it’s their business whether Ridge wants to offshore production (just as Ekster and others have done), it doesn’t make a lot of sense for consumers to spend the same relatively high price for their products, just to increase their profit margin. I goofed and ordered a carbon fiber Ridge, saw that it was not US-made, and sent it back. (To their credit, the customer service is spot-on). I would gladly buy the Ridge wallets in several variations if only they kept their manufacturing here.
I have used one for about three weeks now. Not loving it. The cards move around too much and come up past the edge just a bit when in your pocket. In no way are they close to falling out and they are still very secure. However, it's not a clean look at all. Easier to get cards out, I do agree. However, not as easy as you make it sound in your video.

Thank you for the response. All good information.
Any different type of designs on the plates in the near future?
@Such Is Life The base is an ultra sleek e-coating process and our outer aluminum plates are anodized.
@@ermal6157 What do you have in mind? We have our own ideas, but are always looking for new ideas from others.
@@geogrit9046 Well maybe titanium plate or even a customizable plates like maybe various country flags and stuff..
Great wallet! I do really like my Ridge though! Need nothing else.
I love your channel ! Always fun to see what’s new out there, but I can’t seem to find anything better than my trayvax contour. I love that thing.
One of the best!
Thinkin about buying Contour and selling my XSTO. The problem is they are currently sold out of Brass in Stealth black :(
I love your channel ..you review all the products so so well!!!..keep them comming buddy!!!!

They’re still a new company so it’ll be interesting to see what happens and if they’re able to compete. I hope so because I really like this wallet.
This already looks better than the overrated Ridge
Just ordered one, liked my Ridge but this thing looks to improve it in every way.

Does the carbon fiber plates have a glossy coat? It’s hard to tell.
I’m curious about that too
much much better design than the ridge for sure. I think it would behoove them to have "an early adopter" pricing of say 10-15%
Agreed. Anything to get more of these in people’s pockets
Is it possible to take the wallet apart and remove the money clip completely? This will determine if I buy this wallet or not.
Yes. You can replace the money clip with a cash strap as well.

Make it with leather outer.. I’d buy it
well at least it's not another ridge wallet clone, that's already a huge plus for me.

Is Google want to mess around with Chrispy?... How come they are currently 31 comments but only 9 comments can be seen here?
There should be 32 comments. You only see 9?
I see 9 comments as well. Its weird because it says 33 total comments....

I saw your common access card! Haha! Got one myself!
How is it a ridge wallet killer when the price is just as high?? If it was 30-40 dollars then it would be a ridge killer
So it can’t be a Ridge wallet killer because it’s the same price?
