I love both the makeovers. I seriously can't pick. It's good to switch it up from time to time. But the new makeover definitely have more space to lay around the sectional esp for people who likes to lay back and relax.

I like both. The new set up is warmer, depends on the vibe you're going for but I also love the black and white chairs from the original. My only suggestion is to get a wider sideboard/tv stand. The one you currently have doesn't seem to scale.

*Definitely the old set up. It is more designer* Also the new rug in the new set up could be bringing down that look. It is almost dating or muting the room. IMO it’s just too much brown. Also swivel chairs would be more convenient for the new set up vs the bouclé chairs. However whatever works best for your family is the right choice.

Acknowledging the concerns of TV WATCHERS, I can see how they would prefer the Sectional as placed. However, to me it seems a little awkwardly jammed up against the FP wall. WHAT IFF...you pulled apart the sectional placing the chaise portion @90 degrees (eg. facing the FP)??? Paired SWIVEL chairs, instead of the lovely fixed ones, also would better accommodate TV WATCHERS. Just a thought...however enjoy!
If we had unlimited space it would have made sense to have a walkway on that side but since we don’t, the entry way between the chaise and the chairs will have to do 😊
Sorry not feeling the new set up. The media console seems smaller than the tv or about the same size, not loving that. I know some hate the tv over the fireplace but in this case it would make sense.

White fabric sofas are not practical with kids. They’ll get stained permanently faster than you can blink. This is speaking from experience…..with my belgian linen RH sofa.
Well thank you! I cut out most gluten & sugar because I was feeling so crappy, just to see if it helped! After a few months I felt way better- my neck pain has almost vanished and I have more energy and I also lost like 14 pounds! It was mostly inflammation. I started doing some random exercises too. Maybe I’ll have to share them. Ben teases me cause I just do it around the house randomly instead of going to the gym, but it seems to be helping! 😂

With this setup there isn’t a place for a table lamp because on the side table would block the TV but I might add a floor lamp at some point.

We’ve had great success with scotch guard but white fabric definitely isn’t for everyone.
Not a fan of the chairs but the sofa is perfect. White furniture is just not practical.
