Gorgeous job as usual! Even though you couldn’t get the doors you wanted on the pantry, it turned out nicely and it can be used to display items beautifully ❤️
As always a hit!!! What I love about your designs so much is your confidence in your selections and your mindfulness when it comes to budget, quality and functionality.
The before house is so similar to many houses we looked at here in Kingman, Arizona, and y’all made such amazing changes! The stone wall is genius, too.
The kitchen is beautiful and very functional. I love that you did not put upper cabinets by the sink it makes it feel very open. Again such a great job!!
Loved how you kept the space over the window clean with no upper cabinets. The window and the splash back balance each other too. I like to get up in my counters business too - hehe cracked me up 🤣.
I do like having the microwave in the island. It looks good and is easily accessible. I love what you did with the kitchen and dining area! The stonework is beautiful.
Hello by any chance do you love the microwave in the island or is it a headache to bend down to press the buttons or hold your items in there? Do any of them spill because how it moves to close or open? I'm considering to buy one but I'm not sure because of the price and if it works or not.
I love how this whole project turned out!!!!! Such a beautiful home!!!! The stone wall is my absolute favorite feature and it looks gorgeous in the video but it truly doesn't even do the wall justice! In person it is literally a jaw dropping WOW moment, even through the window from the yard. It is definitely the showstopper! 💗 Your best project yet, Mollie!!!
So glad you like it! Yeah, in person you can definitely get a better feel for the whole space and hopefully we’ll be able to show it in the full tour coming soon!
The dining room stone is gorgeous! It just adds beautiful texture with a little rustic, Italian flair. Did you consider putting it on the same wall in the kitchen, too?
I don't always comment but i enjoy your videos! Your style is so elegant. I have more vintage in mine but I get ideas from you all the time. Love this kitchen!
Love this kitchen! I also love that there aren’t any uppers! The hardware is gorgeous! I personally never use a microwave so I’d never put one in an island but it’s better than being over the range.
Is this not an 80's build? Reasoning, mine was, and I would love taking out walls. They bug! My kitchen cabinets are on one wall as well, in the galley. I have a large breakfast bar with a room attached, which I have my dining table, which is where my fireplace is. Which I certainly don't mind, that part. I absolutely love your decisions for change and decor. I don't like upper cabinets at all, but recently I saw some new builds and loved what they did. Enclosed upper cabinets with glass fronts with lighting. Therefore, showing 1 item in each like a pot/vessel. It was sharp! I think perfect if need to go to ceiling. Hobby Lobby on nice faux artichokes. I have, look great. Perfect wall statement 🙌🙌❤️🙌
Uppers for sure for re-sale! "no uppers" is missing out on a lots of storage space and with the open pantry limiting storage? (I would have that pantry looking like a scary eyesore in no time!) lol. I showed a home in Milton (local area to me a few Months ago), who had no uppers, and the buyers were like, "where do I put my dishes and cups and all my serving wares?". Even though it was a stunning home the buyers dismissed the listing as they did not have time to remodel and the way they designed the kitchen you could not just add uppers to fix the storage issue. I noticed it took much longer for that house to sell and in this crazy market. So, my experience is that it can be a risk for no uppers when there is limited pantry storage space specially when high percentage of the folks expect them. I wish more folks knew about the resins in Quartz's melting and so glad you educated them on this fact. The resins/plastics in the Quartz is what melts or flashes/clouds (what I see most as a Realtor in re-sale homes) they put hot pots or tea kettles on the counters or use crock pots or air fryers (something) and they then melt the resins making them flash. I think folks should be able to design for themselves and do what they want but, do keep re-sale in mind if you plan on doing that within 5 years. So, if you absolutely love and have to have the "no uppers look", at least leave room for uppers to be added later on (design them in with future cabinet sizes in mind) to be added easily for future buyer or when the trend moves on from this look and you decide you need them in your life again, you can just add a few uppers to jump back into traditional kitchen design mode without having to re-do the entire design. Love the feel of this whole space and the calming colors and materials used. Love this channel and how you always manage to make each room unique and beautiful!
Everything is stunning! Completely amazing! The only thing I would change are the pendant lights above the island. For some reason, they just look cheap and detract from the absolutely stunning kitchen. Maybe two basket weave pendants or…… not sure? Your design is exactly what I love. Do you ever work in Michigan?
I just realized why your design is at the top of my list. Truly duh, You are working with homes that are not Palatial! So you manage that so well,The high style is still there. Recently I was looking for ceiling statement lighting for my living room. I realized all the lights I had admired were in homes with 15 foot ceilings so it was a no go for my 9 foot ceilings. I am retired, this Villa is 1400 sf and it is my forever home. Thank you for making higher design in a smaller scale . I truly love what you do! BTW that kitchen is the bomb, microwave down under Yay!
@@DesignLovesDetail I agree I am retired and downsizing, less stuff more design, You help in a big way showing all sizes and spaces...its just all really good!!
I agree with the “ no upper cabinets”. We have remodeled 17 kitchens and have tried not to have uppers if possible. Some day I would love to have a wide closet with all shelves. It would basically be for everything kitchen but behind slider doors. Then just countertop/prep areas with drawers. The last house we did, we put the microwave in the pantry cupboard. We just leave the doors open when the microwave is running. It works great and very inexpensive solution. Love your videos!! Thank you for giving such good ideas.
The kitchen is gorgeous! I agree that no upper cabinets is a cleaner look. However, my first thought is that there is no cabinet or shelf next to the fridge for glassware. Something I always notice when I am in other people's kitchens is how the work triangle functions. Proper placement of dishes and utensils makes such a huge difference in creating a functional space that can accommodate multiple users and minimize steps and wasted motion. If someone has to enter the cook's prep space to get a drink, that is a traffic flow issue. Just a fussy little pet peeve of mine.... don't mind me.
I absolutely love your work and fun personality. Thanks for all the links. I’m going to paint my cabinets that color. Loveee it. Thank you! I was a looking for the kitchen wall color I couldn’t find it. May I please have it?
Excellent design. You have every reason to brag! I love the cabinet color, too Mushroom was a good way to describe it. I love the cabinets flanking the stove. Did you consider doing a counter depth refrigerator?
Love the design and colours of the kitchen. Just that SW cabinet colour Morris Room Grey is totally different colour. I will appreciate you help me with this. Thank you
Love the lay-out/ finishes ...especially "no-uppers" & paired light fixtures on sink wall. I also like paired glass doors to side of stove BUT would personally ended them a little higher up for improved counter-top function on both sides of the stove. ( Countertop loses function when cabinet doors must swing onto it. I just would have preferred fully functional countertops at BOTH sides of stove.) Overall asthetic & storage seems quite nice.
The dining room stone is AMAZING! I would love to have to information about what you used. This design of the kitchen and dining room is so beautiful. You asked about the microwave, and my only concern would be spilling things as bring food out especially liquids. Its easier if the microwave is counter level. I have them taking up valuable counter space too. Maybe next time you can have power added to the pantry and put it in there. Also, that keeps you from being exposed to the microwaves less incase it leaks. I think that's one reason we have a higher risk of breast cancer. Microwaves all on the counter.
Beautifully done!! I totally agree about your comment on parade homes! Currently building a home, and Practicing restraint is difficult but important to overall design. Thanks for sharing, love your channel!
Love the feeling of the kitchen space - the cabinet color is so pretty. I do think the microwave is too low. I wouldn't want to squat/bend down to heat up food. I could see it working there if it was one of those drawer microwaves. For my next home, I like the idea of the microwave being built into a cabinet above the wall oven.
The kitchen is perfect for a flip house. The goal is to be on a tight budget to make profit. I prefer uppers for my dream kitchen. Do you have the link for the rug? Mollie, the stone wall is amazing. Love the light fixture also in the dining room. You always amaze me with your style. Love it!
Love the kitchen, and also hate upper cabinets and prefer to have a complete wall of cabinets. 2 questions is stain white oak or pickled white oak stain, & where did the beautiful sconces come from? Love your design.
Hi love the kitchen design I know you gave the paint color for the cabinets. Do you buy unfinished cabinets and paint them? And if so where do you get them? Thank you

Love how the kitchen turned out. The color from sherwin Williams is so good. Not white but perfect! What was the size of concrete bowl on the island? Thanks!
I love your brick wall idea, I will recommend next owner to continue laying bricks on the empty kitchen wall above the sink, that way it will make the kitchen even more luxury.
Molly question- from bedroom reveal the farm black door with tempered windows from lowes is sold out I don’t think it’s being restocked. Are there other doors similar with that good of price tag that you recommend? I want those so bad!
I told my builder that I wanted white oak with a gray wash on my island. He said that is not a color. So can you please tell me which name on the gray you used, please?
