Kid is lucky, he learned a valuable lesson for only 35 pounds. Should be thanking mystery box site, now when he is 30 and actually has some real money he will remember that lesson.
Zara mcdermott is half naked in every instagram pic I found on google, yet on BBC she's fully clothed and they don't bring up how HARMFUL this is to youngsters, but she talks about not wanting to advertise alcohol or gambling. What a hypocrit.
How about holding parents responsible? Solving these sorts of problems start at home, guidance, supervision, rules and restrictions need to be in place at home!
Valid point, just I can not be bothered to look at these fake people and to listen to their facade only existence. I have no idea who any of those faces are and honestly, I could not care less if all of them just vanished :]
Im a millenial, I only have facebook to talk to my closest, I dont follow anybody, I am not an idiot thus I dont care for crap content like advertisements. However, those who do fest in promotional videos are the reason why this is a great business to be had. This type of videos are not any solution, though are rants. Waste of time! Like I said, I should be into social media, but choose to focus on important life tasks. Social media is a 1st world (trivial) problem that is a choice many chose to live by.
It's just a different way of doing things. The relevant content creators have to declare when they do an ad. If they don't they should rightly be ticked off, but there are others of a different type (e.g. travel reviewers), one of whom is renowned for not declaring when he's getting paid for things, I unsubscribed and declared a disinterest in the channel. Having said that, why are children allowed to buy things online? If they use cards when they are underage, it's the parents' fault.
The power of social media is now a reality. As stated it’s a seismic shift that is not going away. The older generation should get with the program and design checks & balances in this new reality that are practical and workable. Not whine about social media
This documentary is incredibly one-sided and biased. Made by a TV media group that sees brands' ad budgets switch from TV onto Instagram: the conflict of interest here is obvious. What about interviewing all stakeholders in this system? What about showing examples of influencers who do respect the law in their countries? (And what about parental control? It's illegal to have your own UA-cam account under 14. And all devices nowadays can block alcohol/gambling/porn if set up properly)
Maybe because I'm autistic is why I'm confused but why would that be harmful to kids like kids still can't get the alcohol because you still have to be a curtain age to buy the alcohol it doesn't matter if kids see it that doesn't suddenly make it then available for them to buy
If it's taboo, there's all the more "want". Kids, especially as they near the drinking age would like to already try it beforehand (cause cool, or peer pressure, fitting in, ...). I tried wine/beer/... before I reached the age of 18 (on the other hand I grew up before all this, so no brand awareness). Second reason is that when you get to the point of drinking, you're more likely to go for the brand that "rings a bell". If they can instill that when you're a kid, you'll be a likely consumer when you are older. It's all psychology in the end.
That little boys mum is funny. It's her job to regulate her son nobody elses. If he lost money it's her fault because he should not be allowed to buy anything online (whether it's his money or not) without her approval. He also should not be able to browse online freely. If kids get scammed it's the parents fault. make your child read a book or go out and play and stop letting the internet raise your children.
The way she was sitting there with her foot up wearing the dress was so cringe.....she was desperate to show the Chanel shoe but she just looked idiotic. Who sits like that in a dress?
PANODRAMA!! ------ PANODRAMA !! do you lot actually believe we are ever going to listen to a word you say now ? as you ve not replied to the last debacle you dropped your self into ! come on , put a TWIST on that one like you do to all the rest .

Why is the ASA not being helpful. Pretty useless. Makes me want to look into who is funding them to do nothing.

how is zara mcdermott being in a bikini on par with alcohol or gambling
Generation Sheep
Exactly. If you are that easily influenced, then you're not very bright.
Who raised the current generation 🤔 and who who raised the generation that raised the current generation? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
The woman presenters face and poses are just hilarious

Can these influencer be sued if they make misleading claims on a product for money or other material in return , or this is a form freedom of speech?
it's not a free speech issue you can't say what you like on instagram in the same way you can't hold a protest in a mall
WHERE'S THE PARENTS SERIOUSLY

What has got to be changed first is the scamming and the criminal activity before worrying about ads
Sorry Panorama but you can no longer be trusted even if you are reporting on something genuine.
for what reason?
Why does it even matter if something isn’t flagged as a paid advert???
Why is the sound mixing/editing so bad on these videos?!
very soon smart phones are going to be pre order because not every body is willing to have camera on the phone ❤💜💕🖤💚☮✝🕉
HONESTLY WHO CARES
35 quid is a cheap lesson, will remember for long time
Why sell yourself when a wanna-be-star wil do it for you and make it look like "information" to a youth audience?
I expect more content from Panorama, I can not watch the program from Turkey.
How dare they prey on the stupid and vain like that!

The BBC is paid for by the licence fee, it has never received any advertising revenue.
Touched a nerve did it? LOL
@@katie8325 exactly. She seems to not know much.
The BBC has no ads. It's paid for by UK taxpayers so your point is moot.
"Justine loconte" search engine results: a buttload of instagram and UA-cam selling merch.
Oh what a surprise.
Likes don't matter period
What is that song playing at the background at 3.51 to 3.56?
