I have one absolutely stunning plus I've tested it with Bisley magnum 10.7 .177 pellets tested to 50 yrds it is the most accurate rifle I own and I own 19 top air rifles
Love my nutmeg laminate R10 but its time to update the scope mounting system to Picatinny. It is miles ahead of dovetail and especially BSA's 13mm rail. For even better future proofing make it a 10 or 20 moa for longer distance shooting.
Stocks on these are made by minelli of Italy. Minelli also make the stocks for daystate. Thats why this is exactly the same colouring as the daystate wolverine r forester laminate.
It's a nice looking stock but i don't buy that camouflage nonsense, that is only there for cosmetic reasons or in this case to catch hunters to spend more money like BSA did with the ridiculous thumb bolt "take down" version. A real camouflaged gun should also have a camouflage barrel, air bottle and moderator if it should have any meaning at all. You won't shoot less squirrels, rats etc. with an black, green or brown stock as long these black parts are still dominant. In my opinion is the front end of the stock also still to short for comfortable off hand shooting. For hunting or pest control there is no need for big fat capacity bottle and i would rather see a smaller diameter bottle that's half integrated in an at least 4 inch longer front end. If BSA would have listened to hunters this rifle would be different. I don't want to be unkind but in my opinion are the AirArms S410 and 510 still one the best and most reliable PCP's and most suitable for hunting. The FX DRX with wooden stock would also be a very great option. Cheers!
BSA R12 is the best looking PCP on the market nothing comes close and it's built in great Britain by British craftsman with fantastic history from the BSA factory.
Best looking is a matter of taste and not discussable, for you maybe yes for others not. Nothing comes close is totally b.s. I don't say the CLX is a bad rifle but the fantastic old BSA is no more since GAMO got involved. I can give plenty examples of poor Gamo made "BSA's" Knowing Gamo you shoud know their way of marketing, service and the quality. Yes the R12 is made in the UK but everything os supervised by Gamo. Without Gamo the name BSA wouldn't probably exist anymore.
I will never, for the lifeeof me see why the cut the stock ready to do the raised cheek piece. Chuck the cut out cheek piece away, and replace it with a plastic one !!!!. WHY ?. What a waste in this time of recycling and anti plastic ?. Come on BSA, get with the programme !. This one thing, for me spoils a great rifle, and I for one will not buy one for that reason. And it looks daft too !.
Handsome is as handsome does Check out the reviews on the R12 CLX before you part with your money guys. I recommend you check out the reviews on any rifle before you purchase it , 🤔for your own peace of mind.
This is obviously a real good gun I for one love it
Beautiful stock that is

Wouldn't most hunters wrap the barrel and moderator with camo tape and fit a bottle cover anyway as a matter of course? Or am I in the minority?
@@wihtgar7016 Yes many do that but that is not exact my point about this review and i explained why.
