I was in some of Livingston’s first core audiences at the Nameless Coffeehouse beginning in 1969. He was always pleasing to the crowd! 🎶 I treasure my Liv albums!
This is some very good advice! Tom Jackson also teaches live music production and has some very effective tips a legend and his teachings are so simple but make a really huge difference when going from just playing a gig to creating a show with emotional moments. He was generous enough to share some of his teachings and tell a bit more about his entry into the world of live music production in a recent interview. Here's the 1st part: ua-cam.com/video/olQ3ZOrjMc0/v-deo.html Do you want to see part 2? Let me know if you want to see the 2nd part in my comments section!
Wow.... this is great! How do I get more of this without having to take the Berkelee course? I just saw from another comment that he has a book. I'll get it, but I would love to have more videos.
There's no good reason at all for rudeness or intimidation of students. By my lights, a teacher should leave more room for students to perform than to be constantly performing him/herself.
I hear what you're saying. I think the advice is phenomenal but the presentation is a bit demeaning those moments you sight. Then again, they're big kids and they've got to develop thick-skin

just bought his book 'Stage Performance' after watching this video, his class must be one of the most vaulable classes in Berklee for sure.
Very interesting. I've always had a problem with public speaking. This should help with that as well. Thank you, Livingston.
