Propaganda is one of the greatest artists that not only produced the New German Wave but ripped open the canvas for FuturePop, EBM, and other forms. Groups like De/Vision, And One, Ashbery Heights, VNV Nation, Assemblage 23, and others who infuse pop idealism with industrial pessimism have to credit Propaganda for their disruptive innovation.
