- Hello Everyone,
This is my 3rd attempt at a decent run time and had a slight mishap off camera but carried on filming to achieve a better time.
I hope you will enjoy my efforts in trying to gain a better time for myself in this competition.
Here's hoping that you will all have just as much fun with your run times as I am having just as much fun trying to keep it on all 4 wheels 😄

Nice speed Peter! The roof and rear wheel having some battle scars now but that was fast!!! I am going to have to get creative to get something going faster than that!
@@AddamsPlayground Thanks Addam, I have a spare set of rear wheels for this kit and various other sets to test out. The roof can be re-covered in vinyl again.
I have the 2nd run of this video coming up tomorrow with a slightly higher top speed 👍

@@RCBirds Thanks Dirk, I will see what I can get with a new wheel and possibly an upside down Lunchbox wheelie bar. Probably some more scrapes if the wheelie bar does not work 😄🤣😁

We pulled an all nighter Wednesday and got it built (loving that ESC you got moo moo by the way!)
Unfortunately the pinion gears I ordered don't fit.....so it's guna be at least another week or so before we are even able to get a run in.
I need to find a minute to re order the correct size on Monday,which won't be here in time for the Wednesday that we wanted to run.
We will get there in the end buddy.
Liking the dto2 chassis though,those are some of the best performing pogo sticks I've ever seen..... they actually dampen very well!
So hang tight a bit longer mate!

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC you need a 0.8 mod hard alloy pinion. The standard kit supplied aluminium pinion will do for a start until the steel one arrives through the post. At least then you will get off the start line for your first run 👍
Nice run mate. Mines ready to go, weathers been bad today though, hopefully it cheers up soon and get another run in 😁

Damn, beat my latest run by 7km/h lol. I'll try to get the video uploaded this weekend but apparently I'm pretty garbage with the chest rig so there's not much to see from my perspective, thankfully my brother actually hit record this time though so there's a second vantage, and no crashes! Well, except for sending the car in to the bush a few times.
Good run dude, I'm hoping to crack 60km next week.

@@rivierarc Haha, happens to the best of us. Glad to hear the housing survived, one of my first crashes with my DT-02 was quite similar, tore the mount straight off, never did find my driveshaft.

@@PeteWylieRC Hi Pete, I've got the 2nd part of this video coming up shortly where I achieve a dash more mph with the broken wheel and then next up is a new wheel and an upside down Lunchbox wheelie bar to see if that improves anything. Failing that, it will be an esc & motor swap 👍
Hi Peter. I wondering if you could've gone 40mph or even faster with a lexan body? Forgive me if you've already explained the reason for sticking with the HB body but I'm jumping in for the first time on this run 🙂👍🏼

I have 2 of these kits. An Unmarked shelf queen and this basher version. And despite the dodgy wheel, I did achieve 40mph before the wheel fell off but that will be in tomorrow's upload 😜😆🤪
