Ogres are leaving my lord! (btw i love gorbad starting position because it brings me memories of the hundreds of times that i died with grimgor in warhammer 2)
Personally I've been enjoying the dlc but I can see why it's just a wanderlust merc mode no real direction. I hope they incorporate this into the grudgebringer mod
I do like the DLC, but I wish there was less teleporting. I actually started a new one for myself but I wasn't allowed to teleport and only take local contracts, and I think it was much more fun that way. I have to defend my stuff, people start wars against me and I do contracts for local factions to make money to bankroll my other armies, I think it is so much more fun and I wish I did it in the series. :P
I enjoyed him, just not his campaigns that much. I did start a new campaign on my own where I wasn't allowed to teleport, so I had to stay and make a base for my self and move to my contracts while also fighting my own wars, and it was way more fun for me. So I think the biggest problem was there too much options and not enough constraints which just kinda made it uninteresting to me.
@lazygrouse Also, while normally playing with so many mods, I guess vanilla itself is just a little boring for you. Its definitely the best version of the mercenary they've made so far
@GTrevise Haha, I guess that could be part of it, but I don't mind vanilla from time to time. I think the mercenary system rules honestly, it is really fun. But it was more fun to me when I didn't teleport. So I think the globetrotting and not having to worry about anything was the biggest problem for me.

Yeah, Gorbads campaign is so much fun. I'm playing that by myself and it is sweet. Nice to be back to Black crag.
