I have been noticing that late additions always have really low kills but thought that maybe they didn't do much in the end fight, but I know the giant killed things so it just doens't count, that's weird. I guess it doesn't affect the game much, but it is a bit weird still.

Yeah... exactly what I wanted. Totally meant to do that. Who wants to reroll 1s, I never roll 1s. I Much rather just have 5 extra gold.

I still had some archers didn't I? But yeah, it mostly became trolls and giant with goblin artillery by the end.

Well, it's the best kind of artillery so it makes sense.

yeah, that's why I thought it was ok. But I would still like to have had more goblins.

@@Yacovo hate when that happens, just last week I had a wizard jump out of the bushes, turned my shirt puke green, and ran away laughing. These Wizards are out or control.

I do plan on getting some empire cav for some flanking from our ally. But we are starting to run low on skaven to fight. Plus, I don't think I like using slayers to fight skaven infantry, because they still get kited to death by their runners and don't trade favorably into skaven infantry because of their non existent armor.

I definitely agree, they are great if you can buff them up. But they are also realy squishy and got the worst leadership in the game, so once they lose 1 fight they are gone. But with good maneuvering they can definitely be good.

It might sound funny to them now, but it won't be as funny when they have a face full of bolts.

I think you're in the wrong universe here. Unless it is a very low tech planet in 40k where even the Imperium uses swords, spears, and shields.

I guess I use it from time to time, but I don't have a Discord channel or anything like that if that is what you're wondering.

That is really bad then, I remember them being skill 2 as well and I really didn't like them then. :P

I did not. In what way are they not random? Is it like X-COM half cheating dice, or are they Karmic die like in BG3 or something?

@@lazygrouse Karmic dice, basically a bag of 30 (soon to be random amount, supposedly) dice, with an equal amount of each roll in the bag. When you roll a dice, you pull a number from the bag. When the bag is empty, you get a new bag.

@@nothanks1138 Honestly, that seems fine to me. Over a large enough sample size the probability distribution of the bag method and standard dice rolls would be identical, but the bag method limits the amount of swingyness you can have for good or bad within the specific scenario of a single battle. I know it's not exactly comparable, but Tetris uses a bag system where you are assured to get one of every piece before you get a repeat, and pretty much everyone seems to agree the game is better for it.

I know, it's great for shooting, and I'll probably get it if we can afford it later. But I was saving some money for later and because we already have thousand mouths which is doing great at range and primal for close combat so we didn't really need it that badly.
