    I am also in Europe. They have tunnels for trains built since the 17th hundreds. We are a democracy infant since 30 years and look how they tried to take it over. As a culture that excercises democracy I feel the westerners are so insecure to let others exercise democratic rights. I dont think we should excercise democracy or any kind of administration as a copy of theirs but organically build our own that can build on top of itself. I think our expectation is killing our vision and our patience to pace ourselves to growth. Having a country and having peace and restraint is the way to growth. In a post genocide society with the world looking away and billions fulling for us to descend into worse conditions, I believe it is the people's deep social structure and culture holding them from descending into chaos. It's this asset that we should use to build our future. European and western development took its own time. We dont have to loose our assets over what they built but base our goals in visions we put for ourselves and based on our thought structure. Or else we will always be followers trying to fit others standards and not finding our own definitions and channels of development.

    finally he says all Soldiers and politicians are at the same level of political awareness. In Tigrai almost everyone is tegadalay and politically aware. It is the how that people are trying to work through and he just wants to undo everything or there is no way out. I disagree. I think in a space and scene we are in the way to handle our situation is to work with eachother even if it is change not work against one another. Also he has not any more political right than me or his mom. To create awareness was for those he says could do it. So far they havent done much. They just arent ready and people arent convinced specially since what they do is support the other side so it helps then get rid of TPLF no matter the consequences. This shows you they arent strong enough on their own and piggy backing and that they are potentially dangerous and with disconnect with their people. They have a long way to go. We dont know them still.

    The parallel between Tedy’s mom and the diaspora’s thinking is an interesting fact. The commonality is in the perception of power. Isayas in the north, abiy in the south, so the commonality arises from asking who do we have in Tigray? Both diaspora and Ted’s mom answer this question by saying TPLF. However, the thinking is wrong. In order to change things in Tigray, what we need is a democratic system. So the answer the likes of tedy offer is that … there is isayas in the north, abiy in the south and democratic Tigray to challenge both. I go with tedy !

      Which Tigray are you going to make democratic when approximately 40% of it is under occupation and more than a million people are displaced?

    • @Amanzhope
      @Amanzhope 27 днів тому

      @ democratic state and its principles like pluralism did not apply to the entire state over night. In history, even in USA democracy did not cover the entire country at once. The north was more democratic than the south. So in Tigray, let’s have the 60% democratic, better yet let’s have the city of mekele with inclusive governance and set an excellent example for the rest of the state. But why I cling to democracy is not for mere exercise of it, rather democracy is a tool or a weapon to be used against existential threats around us.

    • @Bahgi_
      @Bahgi_ 27 днів тому

      @@Amanzhope: We need to prioritize things. Until you make the 60% Tigray democratic, the 40% of Tigray may be permanently annexed. So, let's have some semblance of governance, for example let's keep the Wereda and Tabya council, and then focus on restoring our annexed territories and return our displaced people. Those should be our priority now. Then, we can talk about making Tigray a democratic state.

    Arent the opposition taking sides with Getachew and Tsadikan? who is to say that the opposition party wont become worse? And this guy's point of perspective is that Desye guy who talks of our soldiers in a bad way. The reason I support TPLF is the way the opposition is trying to remove TPLF using any means possible including Abiy and not using work to stick with their people. Give them all the bad credit TPLF work with the people.

    I dont see how people like this guy could lead a people but ideas. People are on the ground, you need to work with them and they need to lead the changes. The opposition seem to have one thing in common that they dont get that the TPLF do and that is to make the people a part of the change that is made. This people seem to me as just disturbances elongating the time and resources you are talking about while killing the spirit of the people. The people have heroes that have mobilized the sacrifices of people. These people are trying to reverse the beliefs and history of the people going back 50 years while people cant have consensus on that and move forward. They should focus on the now and speak on evidence based basis of who is exploiting the people instead of putting leaders into one sack and dividing people which they have no guarentee to be able to collect. One thing I agree on is the disclosure of who is doing what by the head of the security. But I dont see as much emphasis on the interim administration as to who is stealing by this guy since it is the Ethiopian goverment looting gold and we know the TIRA is on the side of Ethiopian government and not the generals. But I do think the tears of that man is genuine and from a feeling of not being able to deliver to his people amongst all that that has happened. This guy wants us to desensitize from what we feel for our leaders in a way he has and become this obselete beings with a darkened imagination on nothing to look forward to. This will not only desensitize us to our leaders who we feel did suffer with us but not to unite under leadership and call it a mob or democracy. Tigrayan people dont need to be divided now but as a united front attack where the strikes to their sovereignty are coming from. Whether he likes it or not a leader brings its people together. And until Getachew and Tsadikan's ill tactics people in Tgrai had better unity. I feel we are more united and have hopeful outlook under TPLF than a guy who hates all 50 years which is around two generations of Tgrayan hard earned sweat and achievements and wants to uprise on all of them without respect to the place Tgrayan people have given them and give a vaccum that the opposition arent yet ready to fill just because he doesnt understand we are in a condition of post genocide with our own working with Abiy Ahmed and an international community helping him inject millions of dollars to win TPLF outside of people's hearts and expect us to contend with all this with the parties that are in meetings with Tsadikan every sunday. I call this bull. I rather see TPLF work against PP and bring Tgrayan sovereingty and develop into having an open space so others participate in a way people can participate.

  • @tigraiembeba4447
    @tigraiembeba4447 27 днів тому

    This guy wants the international community who sat and watched Tgrai undergo genocide become a judge so they can have the remote control to do what they want in Tgrai. He wants the international community who in their eyes made Abiy Ahmed a peace Nobel prize genocider be the people to implement national commission of sorts while people haven't returned to their homes and sovereignty of Tgrai has not been restored. I still can't agree with goons like this guy who think Tgrai should be under persecution while Ethiopia lurks in the background waiting for this to happen. How is Debretsion as bad as Getachew? Is Debretsion really trying to fight Getachew for the seat or was he against the demolishing of the Government of Tgrai parliament which has made us descend into having divided powers in Tgrai. Like it or not there was a united spirit in Tgrai when we defended against the genocide which is lost now. If Tgrai government was intact wouldnt Pretoria have been implemented? Isnt that the doing of Tsadikan and Getachew? How is TPLF as evil as he puts it? If TPLF was so evil wouldnt they have resulted in a system like Esayas? I dont think this was their intention but they had to give Tgrai a platform against the odds of the western influence and Ethiopian hegemony which they did. Genocide was a history in Ethiopia against Tgrai. The way to fight it couldnt have been forming a state 30 years ago. They did what they had to do to transform Ethiopia so that the people had their own things to defend instead of unite against Tgrai with some gloomy hocus pocus Ethiopian story.
