I really wanna try Texture ID. People are raving about that Twist Butter like they did about the Styling Creme a couple years ago. I need to use up a good amount of my stash then wait for Sally’s to have one of their 4 for $20 sales and I’m gonna bring all of it home lol

I have the Twist Butter I agree. It’s not very moisturizing and you have to pair it with a leave in. I wish they made skincare because it feels so nice it could be a body butter! 😂

I loved the results, the coils side looked like it was more defined. Would you recommend using an oil with the coils line to get more moisture locked in?
I enjoyed it how it was. I would worry my results wouldn’t be the same if I added anything.
Carla Jean i always have had to use an oil with other lines to get that extra moisture and this time I used the texture id original one, I may have overdone it myself🤦🏾♀️we will see in a couple days when I take it down. But I am glad I went with my first mind and didn’t put any gel in my hair as a sealant!
So did you feel that the deep conditioner was self heating?

Wow, really? I used the texture ID coils butter/gel product only on my hair. By the time my hair dried I knew that I had to get that gel out. It was the most drying product that I have ever used on my hair. I thought it was going to damage my hair because it was so drying; I have never felt my hair that dry before and on wash day to boot. I was so disappointed, because it said that it was a butter. There is no moisture in that product whatsoever. I was tricked. I would’ve never put a gel on my hair without something to protect my hair. How deceiving to say that it’s a butter. That was the worst product I’ve ever tried in my hair In my life. You cannot scrunch the crunch with this product. I have never returned anything quicker than that product.
Wow I hate to hear it performed like that in your hair. It definitely doesn’t perform like a butter. I guess they get that name from the color or appearance of it. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I hope you were able to find something better for you.
