Bobo Kissa I have a question what do you feel is more important to use a deep conditioner or hair mask or to use a regular conditioner? Also is it necessary to use both or is one okay to use at a time?
talltalllady I wash my hair once a week and I only use shampoo and deep conditioner. I deep condition for 10 mins with heat. My hair is thriving on this simple routine. I don’t bother with other conditioners or masks. I think it’s just marketing things
talltalllady mask is just another term for deep conditioner, and conditioner isn’t necessary if you deep condition. And deep conditioning actually penetrates the hair shafts deeply while conditioners give more surface level results.
So I hadn't deep conditioned my hair in a month and then I went to CVS in a rush to get something. I found the Maui brand. I looked at two reviews online from 4c girls and they were negative but at that point I had already bought the products so I gave them a try. After washing my hair with some design essentials shampoo (holy grail), I used the (green) conditioner and the (purple) deep conditioner (the directions on the deep conditioner recommend conditioning before deep conditioning) and YALL! My wash day has never been better! The products don't feel great in my hand but my hair LOVES it! It's never been softer. They're a new staple in my regimen. Im definitely going to buy more of their products!
this is my new holy grail!!!!! sweeeeet😍 NO freeze, NO clumps or flakes - ALL DAY for several days 😁 if the OP don't mind, I use my products in this order & I achieve the most wonderful results: 1. wash & condition hair while in the shower using Maui CQ 2. after rinsing conditioner, apply Maui CQ milk as my leave in 3. then apply my oil which is "Raw Oil" under Maui Hydrating (?) line (this oil is the bombay,!!!!!) my new creamy crack 😙 All 4 steps are done while in the shower. I then use Auntie Jackie's don't shrink flaxseed gel as my stying product & when I tell you that this gel works great in combo with Maui products 😍 so far I have not experienced any flakes from any styling products like I use to😶 Aunt Jackie's As I Am TGIN my hair type & texture: 4abc & U, an "unidentified texture"🤣🤣🤣 but I am loving it!!! #ATX

I just used this didn't use the leave in . I'LL get it next time..I must say I was really suprised how good it is..The shampoo is thick and the conditioner was thick and had slip...I have used the smoothie for my twist out and even on dry hair and I love this stuff..I don't know what hair type I have so don't ask..
+O Love no I don’t think it’s the nature of it, I can tell when it’s soft and fluffy that it is happily moisturized. If your hair is always dry try sealing with an oil after you rinse out the conditioner and then proceeding with styling. Also it could be the products .. if your hair is always dry you gotta try some new products
emmess I used to have that same problem after I first went natural. I was slapping in products left and right and when the water in the products evaporated like 5 mins later, my hair would be dry again. Then I started sealing my hair with shea butter..changed the game♥️ it doesn't matter how moisturizing a product is the water (usually first ingredient) will evaporate and ur hair will be Dry. So u have to deal with something heavy, like shea butter, any butter actually. Or a heavy oil like jbco. I prefer shea butter. I took my hair from being constantly dried out to be in soft and plushy for two whole days. Progress🙃.Hope this helped!😇

Awesome video! I just sent it to my bestie with identical hair to yours. It's almost impossible to find drug store brands for tightly coiled, dense hair.
I used the conditioner and it had no slip at all. I ended up getting some slip when I used a lot more. It's just not worth it for the price though cause I used it 3 times and it's mostly gone.
Just bought some it smells so freaking good and my hair is so soft I can detangle with the shampoo and I did your trick to cut my ends but I got scissor happy

I have loooonnnng, curly, very thick hair, my mom has short thick curly hair, I go through conditioner like nothing else and me combined with my mom.... we use a lot. I have a mix of 2c and 3a.... my hair kind of does what it wants in all honesty, also my hair is fried, it’s been dyed and bleached a lot so that might contribute. I’ve tried the sea mineral one, and I love it. I’m excited to try this one to.

They straight up copied Shea Moisture. The Curl Milk is super thick and everything just like the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk. It's an 8 oz. bottle that even looks like the SM. Wow I don't think I can support that.

How can you tell that 4c hair is moisturized? I feel like my hair is always dry immediately my moisturizer dries... is that just the nature of 4c hair

Hey I tried Maui for thick and curly hair. I love the way the products curls my hair. I primarily use it as wash and go due to my hair tapered.
