Wow, the speed of that tide, a beautiful area but the chances of getting stuck look pretty high. CJ, she takes us all on these epic walks and takes these risks,so we don't have to lol :D
I thought I judged it better...only got slightly damp feet. It's amazing how fast the tide can come in some times. Hopefully taking people along will also give them the confidence to do it themselves too
Good afternoon CJ,lovely to see the glorious sand dunes and breaking waves, beach walking is hard work! Maybe why we always sleep so well when on the coast, and always nice to get home and find out you have what seems like half the beach in your shoes 🤗 a moon light beach would be heavenly, great little cave along the way too. ST Cuthburts cave was awesome, and some great looking rock pools, stunning. Epic indeed CJ! Thanks for the video, really lovely and very enjoyable to watch along. That final cave was amazing! Just wow 🤯Have a great week, Ceri and Kat ♥️☕👍🌊
Thanks guys...just catching up on your videos now from Snowdonia. I think you will hear me complain about sand in every video I ever have to encountered it...lol. The conclusion...I'm not a beach-holiday kinda person. Can't wait to be in the Lake come Friday...hoping the weather holds
Wicked last time I was there the tide was in and I couldn’t get in the cave I was gutted maybe I’ll be in luck or just have more time next time I get that way thanks for sharing Cj
Because I have a major fear of water, and also because a lot of the things I want to see are often only accessible at low tide, I keep an eagle-eye on the tides when doing these explorations...but it is amazing how quick they turn if you're not careful. I'm always aware of ways out..even if they are straight up.
I know...I'm going to have to go back and find them. Someone else mentioned that they were further back than I went. I was racing the tide as I had gone just at low tide and it was already starting to come in and block access routes. Another day, another adventure :-)
have you been to dorset some of the best views in the south i live on portland. portland is is one place that you can feal like you are the only person for miles. if you want to be alone then portland is that place rudged coast line easy access caving been caving on the island for about 10 years all of them dry caves. very good for people to explore just good boots and a good light. try it you wont regreat it
Thanks, CJ. 🙂 That was really cool. 👍😀
Glad you enjoyed it

Hey, the cave at the end is the correct cave, you needed to go in beyond that log and the well is up on the left.
Ah, okay. Thanks. I'll check it out again next time I'm there...I almost didn't beat the tide as it was!
You didn’t show the well or spring. You needed to go into the last cave to see it but it’s quite dangerous and needs care. Very beautiful though

I thought maybe there would be an illuminated neon sign above on the cliffs, pointing to St Cuthbert’s Cave.
Ha ha...thank God there isn't.

I know of Portland and it is a place I'd like to check out, along with more of Dorset in general
