Right! Sometimes, it works for me, I have been at it for a year and we are almost done. I can’t wait, I did the master bedroom, the kitchen is almost done, and last will be the office and garage. It works because everything is back in its place and visible. I am bee style organizer.
Love this video! I don’t think clients have a realistic idea of how much this stuff costs! I had a client that wanted her entire pantry redone, filled with airtight food storage containers, bins and drawers, plus my time for $300. What?!? We need more videos like this!!
I really love that you broke this down. When I watched the show I wanted several of the home edit organizers but the price tag stopped me in my tracks. I’ve managed to find some substitutions that work better for my space but even that adds up. I appreciate that you made this video showing us the financials. Oh and I truly love when you showed that your assistant was using very simple things to organize in her closet. It gave me the idea of using boxes I already have while I figure out my layout and continue to purge. Once I’ve finished I’m seriously considering buying fabric and using my glue gun to make them more “aesthetically pleasing”
Thank you! It sure does add up and I want people to understand that on a detailed level. I’m happy you got ideas from me showing her space. I love the simplicity and real ness of it! Adding fabric will definitely give that aesthetically pleasing look!
Please do more videos like this!!! My mom and I are organizing our pantry/office/ playroom for my son and the hardest part is going through everything because it’s just the two of us! They come in with a whole team and lots of money to spend and make it look so easy. The show was actually depressing me until we realized this. I did buy some of their products from Walmart but as you said, the desired look isn’t going to happen until the clutter is gone!! Love Marie Condo on Netflix too and the idea of thanking everything you let go of.
Thank you for reminding us to declutter!! Such an important first step. I learned that only after I purchased organizing products I didn’t need. So happy to have found this video and to be a subscriber! Thank you for this awesome content.
First time viewer - you just got a subscriber. You have such a great shirt too! Love that little shoulder detail! Can't wait to binge watch your videos over the next few days. Love the realistic, but not mean, breakdown. Detailed, professional, passionate, and has a great set of points at the end.
Super !! I just started watching this show and I have been thinking the same thing these things are expensive and i was so curious to know how much this costs !! Definitely very appealing to the eye but of course all comes with a price . And this is just cost of products , I am still wondering how much the labor is because I saw 2 handymen , 3 ladies and someone may be foing the rounds . So if you can please break that down too . Thank you Judi I really enjoyed watching this .
This is a great video, the excess in this series kinda made me feel sick and goes against the principles of decluttering! I'd be interested in a video where you could find dupes/ ideas to get a similar result on a budget.
Thank you and thank you for that idea. It does go against the principle of decluttering but a lot of people don't really care about decluttering rather their focus is usually on organizing which for the most part includes adding organizing products.
I don’t know. I wonder if these ladies will be able to sustain this lifestyle forever. 🤷♀️ They prob be able to sustain a really nice lifestyle but in the same level of spending as they do now? I’m not sure.
Thanks for confirming this reality check. Dollar tree items can work but not the same as the high end products. Finding the middle ground is a challenge, but worth the effort
Thanks for breaking this down! I just started watching the show and I was thinking about the cost of all those organizing products. Some of it definitely seems excessive and just contributing to the clutter. I'd really like to see like months or even years down the road if the people on the show actually kept up with organizing (not being sarcastic - just genuinely curious). Also, I think that spending money on organizing products isn't necessarily a bad thing so long as you're consistently using them and maintaining upkeep. For example, I've had the same plastic storage bins in my linen closet for many years now and I plan to keep using them until they (or I) die haha! They're handy to keep things organized and work in any space in my home even if it's not in the linen closet (they also work for under the sink or office too). I'd hate to see people throw away what they already own and use to organize stuff and contributing to landfill just cuz they see The Home Edit and think they need to have the exact same products. Use what works for you and look for meaningful ways that you can improve what you have!
Thanks for the breakdown, I appreciate your effort, as an organiser pricing one area most people get taken back, its good don't know what to expect, you have a new sub!
Yay!!! I’m so excited that you’ve decided to do some reactions. I love how you included the total cost. I feel like that’s something that’s always missed in organization videos! I just can’t believe that costed more than my wedding (I eloped) 😱😂 thanks for the reality check!
Goodness, that is expensive. Still, I know over the years of trying to organize my family's clutter, my cost is probably not very far from that. I mean I have 6 shelves (similar size but not as heavy duty) of stuff for the storage alone XD
I watched this episode as well and immediately wondered where she parks her car at with all of that in there, LOL. I was wondering if you could do an organizing video/walk through of a child's bedroom. I have two young boys and I want to see what are some new ways to organize their space that they can appreciate.
Thank you, for this video, Judi! I think wat you can learn from this is 1. it is just one more beautiful show, do not take too seriously. 2. Stil need this look? Purge, purge, purge firstly, up to 70% of your stuff. 3. Safe your time (witch is money:) and hire pro organizer who is going to help you with budgeting en organising your space ( if it is too difficult, frustrating and time consuming for you). And last but not least!:) In this case (garage) remember that garage is for the your car (s), not for allllllll this stuff witch you do not to know what you are going to do with..:)).
I started first to watch the show because fabulous is shiny and Diogenes syndrome is not glamorous. I agree that we amass what is pleasing without thinking: is it functioning in my routine? How many times did I use it? But that show was a start to a quest I am on. And it leads me to you. I wanted to avoid MK because before them I saw the minimalist and it feels necessary but cold and not fulfilling. In the end, they were enlightened in something barren and I can’t call it home. I need to declutter I need essential I love the aesthetically pleasing Your advice is clear and sound But I appreciate that you always add if it works for you. Because it is not easy to maintain a routine that is not ours.
You just taught me something new, thank you! Time to start doing some research. I completely understand what you're saying in regards to minimalism. What the media portrays as minimalism isn't for everyone. There are so many facets of minimalism and I can't wait to do a video on it some different can see how they can be a minimalist to but in their own way. I always say if it works for you then that's what matters because we are just all so different and have different views on what brings joy and happiness in our lives. Again, thank you for your comment and for sharing your knowledge!
Organizing is pretty much a costly hobby ngl….. and you have to be able to let go…… it’s so hard. I spent last weekend reorganizing our kitchen. Spent almost $700 for all the products and now the boys love it and help to keep clean haha
6:02 I agree we buy one or two baskets 🧺 and we need 15 I bought those 15 but I had not thought it through so it is not functioning because of no shelves. Maybe 😂
Love knowing the facts & figures! It motivates me more to lose unnecessary stuff... And not get too enticed by the acrylic containers. I hate cleaning so owning those will mean more cleaning. I am gonna stick to my hooks and shoe boxes lol 😆 Thanks for this video! It's a great reality check!
The CRAZY thing about how much money the Kardashians make - Is that all of these products, along with everything else you see promotional wise IS DONATED TO THEM!! I GUARANTEE THE KAGILLIONAIRE PAID $0.00 FOR THIS ENTIRE PROCESS!!! Just like the rest of them!
The Home Edit books are all about you not needing to be a minimalist just organized. But this proves than unless you are rich, unfortunately you do need to have less staff to organize.
Declutter items you spent money on just to waste more money on some bins..🤦🏼♀️ this really is becoming ridiculous that everyone is on this trend; there are other ways to organize that aren’t so ocd! Be original, come on now.
I loved to video. I’m tardy for the party. However, if you do this type of video again you should make you smaller and the other video a little bigger. I couldn’t see what was going on in the other video. I love your commentary but I couldn’t finish the video. Just a little advice no judgment.
I feel like this was so unrealistic for Khloe. Telling a Kardashian to not do any more product collaborations with a sibling? THE aren’t doing their job well if there’s no room for growth.
seems like a ton of money to waste on saving junk. it would be less expensive for the rest of us just to go and buy what is needed from the storage area as it is needed. this homeowner is quite wasteful.
I’m watching cause I really enjoy you and your channel, however, I don’t think I will watch any future videos that feature this racist offensive family.
“At the end of the day, organizing products are clutter.” You’re so right!
Sometimes that’s too true
Right! Sometimes, it works for me, I have been at it for a year and we are almost done. I can’t wait, I did the master bedroom, the kitchen is almost done, and last will be the office and garage. It works because everything is back in its place and visible. I am bee style organizer.

Thank you! This is exactly why I do these videos. It’s to bring reality to peoples organizing wants. Any ideas of what episode to do next?
Ridiculous
I really love that you broke this down. When I watched the show I wanted several of the home edit organizers but the price tag stopped me in my tracks. You’re so welcome!! I’m so happy you’re here!!
I’m so glad I watched this! Thanks for the reality break down
You’re so welcome!!!
I watched one episode and thought to myself “ unrealistic and expensive” , I am all set.
It's definitely expensive and unrealistic to most but realistic for some.
Loved this! Best part is the financial (realistic) breakdown. Beautifully done. 👏🏼
Truer words could not be said “she. spent. coint.”
Thank you so much! Yes she did!!!
First time viewer - you just got a subscriber. You have such a great shirt too! Love that little shoulder detail!
Can't wait to binge watch your videos over the next few days. Love the realistic, but not mean, breakdown. Detailed, professional, passionate, and has a great set of points at the end.
Yes please do the whole series. 😃
I second this!!
Okay... since you’re asking!
If you need storage, you need to declutter! I know because I have a lot of empty storage now 😂😂😂
I too recently watched this episode. Thanks for breaking things down. I needed this reality check😅

It's not as pretty, but I get stuff from the dollar tree or 99 cents store 😬
Khloe watching this: “this was literally pocket change”.. 😩
I don’t know. I wonder if these ladies will be able to sustain this lifestyle forever. 🤷♀️ They prob be able to sustain a really nice lifestyle but in the same level of spending as they do now? I’m not sure.
I highly doubt she paid a cent for any of this. network
etflix\container probably did as promotion
Right 🤣🤣🤣🤣us peasents could never
Thanks for confirming this reality check. Dollar tree items can work but not the same as the high end products. Finding the middle ground is a challenge, but worth the effort
Love this! Please do more!
Okay. This makes me happy!
@@juditheorganizer Thank you!! Love the vlogs, as an aspiring pro organizer, I enjoy them!
@@auroracorley5444 You’re very welcome. So happy to hear they inspire you!
Man that is really expensive. Thank u for the cost break down you are always such an inspiration to watch. You always give me great ideas.
Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear my videos are inspiring to you!

Loved this video! Hilarious, informative and realistic! Thanks!
Thank you so much and you’re so welcome!!
Can you use the sweater bins for other items?
Wow, I love your voice!! Excellent video :)
I don’t know why I haven’t found this channel before now but I love it!
Thank you!!
I really appreciate the breakdown and that you linked the products in the description box. New subscriber! 💜
You're so welcome and thank you!

You’re so welcome and you so absolutely get it. Thank you for subscribing, Love 💕
Thanks for that info. Im facing reality. I know for sure I can’t afford it YET😂😂. Declutter so you can use less products and less expensive ones
Reality shows are not reality! :) Love your energy and expertise, by the way!
Can you breakdown one of their videos that do a kitchen/panty overhaul. Please 😀
I sure will!! You choose and I’ll do it.
You're such a keeper.
Subscribed. xx
Tips on organizing a kids room would be great. Especially if you want to maximize every use of space available
My goal is to create such a video so it’s coming soon. Thanks for the reminder!
she is so musical and i bet she would be such a nice person to meet!
I really enjoyed this content.
Thank you, Marvia!
thanks for the organizing!
You’re very welcome!
Great video would definitely love to see more
Yay!!! I’m so excited that you’ve decided to do some reactions. I love how you included the total cost. I feel like that’s something that’s always missed in organization videos!
I just can’t believe that costed more than my wedding (I eloped) 😱😂 thanks for the reality check!
Hey Isabel!!! Including the cost is so important so people understand what it took to organize such a space.
No we can’t afford it, that’s why we watch you to come back to reality:). You will get us there.
Yes, I will! Thank you, Love!
Goodness, that is expensive. Still, I know over the years of trying to organize my family's clutter, my cost is probably not very far from that. I mean I have 6 shelves (similar size but not as heavy duty) of stuff for the storage alone XD

Perfectly said!
You are 100% correct! Not everyone can afford it I thought it was $5000.00 plus how much does Home Edit charge for that job? Love the video.
I want to know if they charge or if it’s free just so they can get promo
I started first to watch the show because fabulous is shiny and Diogenes syndrome is not glamorous.

Organising products are also expensive when totalled together for all the spaces in the house.
6:02 I agree we buy one or two baskets 🧺 and we need 15
I bought those 15 but I had not thought it through so it is not functioning because of no shelves. Maybe 😂
Even though I say that, it's important to know how many baskets/bins you need before purchasing.
I donate what doesn’t work for me pretty much right away so it doesn’t end up cluttered
great video!
Thank you!
Love knowing the facts & figures! It motivates me more to lose unnecessary stuff... And not get too enticed by the acrylic containers. I hate cleaning so owning those will mean more cleaning.
I am gonna stick to my hooks and shoe boxes lol 😆
Thanks for this video! It's a great reality check!
You're welcome! I'm sure those hooks and shoe boxes help keep your space organized so I would stick with them as well.
Great! Thanks! 😊
Oh the maths
This is why I my project is waiting for my savings to piling up

Yup isn’t crazy how is peasents have to pay for everything down to the penny yet rich people get things for free …what kind of circus are we living in
Visually appealing
14:37 we need to declutter
Love your top too 👍
Well, thank you!
The Home Edit books are all about you not needing to be a minimalist just organized. But this proves than unless you are rich, unfortunately you do need to have less staff to organize.
I’m happy that other women are doing well. Unfortunately women tend to bash females-let’s celebrate their wins instead of ridiculing our sisters!
I watched all of The Home Edit. The worst thing about it was the constant screaming/screeching!
Oh, yes! It was so annoying!
She will grow out of it
That kid does not need all those silly plastic cars.
Declutter items you spent money on just to waste more money on some bins..🤦🏼♀️ this really is becoming ridiculous that everyone is on this trend; there are other ways to organize that aren’t so ocd! Be original, come on now.
Home edit stuff are expensive when I went to buy them i ended up not buying any hahaha as you need so many to make it look good. Plus they’re plastic
That’s like a drop in a bucket for her ..... gots to be nice
Oh, yes indeed!
Khloe little girl is so adorable but why does she need that many vehicles
❤️❤️
I loved to video. I’m tardy for the party. However, if you do this type of video again you should make you smaller and the other video a little bigger. I couldn’t see what was going on in the other video. I love your commentary but I couldn’t finish the video. Just a little advice no judgment.
4:19 you have a fascinating life. It feels like the wedding planners.
Funny I always skip the celebrity part of this show. Especially this one. And know I was so curious about your cost Statement.😔😅
Nope Nope! That is way too much money.
Yeah ridiculous
I’m watching cause I really enjoy you and your channel, however, I don’t think I will watch any future videos that feature this racist offensive family.
Thank you! I hear you. I that wanted to give perspective to my viewers about the cost of products and her garage was a good example for it.
