I still buy blank cards, usually I find them at garage sales for real cheap like $1.00 for 30 cards. I am old fashioned and still like to prepare handwritten thank you or inspirational cards for friends going through issues. It is a lot more personal and sincere than emails or posts on Facebook. I agree with eliminating the other 10 items that you mentioned.
I agree with this one to a certain point. Some people don't appreciate cards. I have kept every single one my mother has given me. Not only are they beautiful but she has left hand written notes inside that mean the world to me.
Yeah...not giving up my greeting cards! I get pleasure looking for them, the cards themselves and I dont care if the recipient throws it out right after! Nope, dont care! 😁 I have a drip coffee maker and love it. I too..looove coffee. 😊
I agree with all of this. Especially, toys, comforters, and greeting cards. People often ask where are my kids toys 😂😂😂 when I want new bedding, I take the old ones to the animal shelter. Also wanted to add, there's a called Libby and you can attach your library card to it and read on your kindle, ipad or listen to the audiobooks free.
Excellent video on items you no longer purchase to maintain a clutter-free home! The idea of going digital for greeting cards and invitations is a modern approach that's both eco-friendly and clutter-free. Things to Consider: If you're looking to declutter, start with items that are easy to digitize like photos, documents, and even some keepsakes. When it comes to gifting, consider asking the recipient for a list of things they actually need or would use. This ensures your gift won't become someone else's clutter. If you're trying to reduce waste, think about reusable options in different aspects of your life, from the kitchen to the laundry room.
Agree on everything but the books! When reading for entertainment, a kindle is just fine, but when it comes to textbooks I just can't focus or take notes and it just takes too long to read them. I just can't and I have tried😂
When it comes to decluttering greeting cards and feeling guilt: what I’ve done is taken pictures of ones I don’t feel any sentimental value to and recycled them. Ones that are really pretty but I don’t feel sentimental about the actual card note, I cut the front design off and discard the note. I have a handful that have personal notes from people I care about, and those stay in a keepsake box. Cards I’ve gotten throughout the year I keep and at new years I go through and declutter.
Yessss to the Library! They are my favorite public resource 💕 Also, THANK YOU for being honest about the k cup coffee. I’ve never liked any k cup or nespresso coffee, it’s always too bitter and flavorless (except the artificial added flavors). Love this video!!!
So glad you discovered colors look great on you🎉❤. Your 7-month postpartum body is absolutely beautiful 😍 and you're shining ✨️ so brightly 🌞 Thanks for continuing to teach & share what you love, cause whew chile WE need you❣️
I just stumbled on your channel and i love it. New subscriber here. I've been a minimalist for about 10 years and only purchase what i need and what i love. Im also an avid reader but only keep reference books. Everything else goes to Goodwill if i dont checkout books from the library.
What do you think about digital clutter? Digital data also occupies space somewhere physical and wastes energy and that's bad for the planet. I mean do you also have any strategy for that because my gallery and so makes me craaazy
That was fun😄 thanks Judi! You look beautiful, good color on you! Nice list!!! Love the idea of not buying any more comforters!!!! Who knew!!! Duvet with multiple covers, Best idea ever!!! I’m gon be struggling with no buying books tho😜
I keep my greetings card in photo album because I use photo albums as a scrapbook. Thankfully, I do not get many greetings card. ❤️ my books collection not too many. 👏 on gifts i do not use because I than have to go to goodwill to donate. Gift giving I try to find out what they need, and use social media to get ideas on gift giving. ❤ 👗 print . 💯 on makeup products I always restock . I cannot live without my planner it keeps me organized. I started use them when I was diagnosed with cancer back in 2015. I only use planners back in my undergrad and grad school. ❤ the video.
Thank you, Love! It looks like you’re intentional with these items which honestly is key to maintaining an organized space and not just keeping clutter so good job! Wishing you great health and happy living❤️
I did this a few years ago. I chose the best one or two items of each make up step and I got rid of the rest. Now even that is too much. So basically keep the one or two foundations, concealers, mascaras, eyeshadows, eyeliners etc. that work the best for you and are your holy grail. I chose one of each. And whatever that you really don't do often get rid of it
lol! My Papa was a minimalist before it became a thing. He asked people not to spend money on him as he didn't "need" nor want anything. Family still bought him gifts for his birthday and Father's Day, UNTIL...... My 3 sisters went to visit my Papa before going to Goodwill. My papa asked them to take a bag of items to Goodwill for him. My sisters looked in the bag to find all of the gifts they have given my Papa through the years with store tags still attached. Wallets, shirts, mugs, and socks, nothing had been used or worn. My sisters questioned my Papa, who reminded them he didn't want nor need anything and asked them not to buy anything for him! lol. I had learned early in to give my Papa gift cards. Hilarious!
Do you have a nespresso or keurig? Bc you say K cups and show k cups but then mention how you use grinded coffee beans in your Nespresso? Only asking bc I have an Nespresso and would like a reusable cup option. If you could link a good tried & true one i'd really appreciate it, thanks!!
I no longer have a Kuerig because now I have an espresso machine which is why use grinded coffee beans. I don't have a reusable cup option but there are so many out there that are really good.
Lol. Here I am thinking you're bigger after hearing you talk, then you show how you looks and I'm wondering if your "perfect body" is model-thin, cause girl, you look sizzlin'! That dress makes you look amazing.... you should have bought it!
Did I hear you say that your 7 month old likes to play with a zip lock bag? please don't. it's way to risky. Babies bite things and I am sure you watch her very carefully, but it only takes a tiny piece of plastic to choke.

Please talk about makeup minimalism. I agree with that. Makeup expires too fast for the average woman to use up.
Something will be coming out soon!

I think many of these would work for many, but couldn't see myself utilizing all of these. Maybe a few will work for me.
And that is what matters!

We only use duvets in the UK, what is a comforter?
It’s technically a duvet with a duvet cover that doesn’t come off.

Thank you so much and you're so kind!!
Can not believe it has been 7mths since your baby you look fantastic
I know, I can't believe it either. You're so sweet, thank you!
💜💜💜💜💜
You are cute and your dress is so cute!
Thank you so much!
what if you give 5 people a list of 10 things you would like for Christmas and they all buy you the same things?🙃
Well, you make different lists for different people. Maybe instead of 10, you do 1 and give it to those 5 people.
I stopped buying books also, I go to the library
Cheers to going to the library!

That was likely not literal. I believe she's intelligent enough to know, and not put her baby in danger.
Yea, it wasn't literal lol.
Most of these things are rare to be used in Latam haha how different and wasteful is the US
Yea the US is a bit wasteful which is why I am working on changing that in my life.
