I killed a cane brake rattle snake when I ran over it with a locomotive while switching a chemical plant in SE Louisiana. It was over 8 feet long and around 6 to 7 inches in diameter at its widest point. The wheel of the locomotive cut off about 10 inches including its head. One of the brakemen on the job who was a little over 6 feet tall held it up as high as he could and about 6 inches of it’s tail was still on the ground.
That never happened🤣 the biggest one anyone has ever found wasn’t even no where near 7 and if one were to be that large it would have way more than 7 inches in diameter
you messed with this guy sooooo much for him to strike and you know you did.i live in a real national forest loaded with these guys,i walk out my back door 20 foot and im standing on forest property so i see them all the time,they come up in my garage even,i simply get my tongs and a trash can and put them in it and take them about a couple hundred yards away and release them.and NEVER not once have i seen one strike EVER.you said someone else caught it.well someones been harassing it which is wrong,just for jollies of shooting a video.these are super docile snakes so dont give bad info and make people think their monsters dude,yea your video sucks.its misleading,now diamondbacks yea super pissed snakes.timber hell no.
Because they are a protected species that provides balance in the ecosystem firsty, secondly because they are protected making them illegal to kill. The only reason to kill snakes is ignorance

Why are you glad the owner of the land didn't try to kill it?
