A whatttt? To this day, when my wife tells me something, that’s how I answer her. Saw this masterpiece in 75 when I was 10 years old. I’m 55 now. Still a masterpiece.
I know that feeling....when ever I need to calm a family member down, I grab them, say their name twice followed by, "My kids.....where on that beach to."..... they laugh, so it works.....LMAO......Try it some time, Obviously you must say it with the same exact cadence as Murray H.
He was the best for scary movie trailers. Then later he started narrating trailers for funny movies to fool you into thinking they were gonna be scary "The Great Outdoors" for one.
@@josephmassaro He didn't get to be in front of the camera too often but did a lot of narration and voice overs. I'll remember his as the voice of the glowing green "evil" orb in the 1981 cartoon movie "Heavy Metal"
If this movie were made today.... The shark would be CGI, and you would see a lot more of it. One of the main characters, most likely the guy who kills the shark at the end, would be a woman. The soundtrack would be filled with modern pop songs.😒
Only reason this didn't get a R rating was because the damn shark didn't work like they wanted so it was used sparingly - The rest was suspense and you knew it was there or was coming
This trailer shocked the nation into wanting to see this movie . The greatest and first truly amazing story of how this movie was made is legendary as the greatest First time ever seeing this movie .
Our old PC in the 90s had some movie encyclopedia CD-ROM and this trailer was on it in a super pixelated MPEG1 format. This looks a little better. Thanks for the upload!
I want my future slasher horror movie Dr. Killer to become another summer blockbuster to earn billion dollars since Jaws did because I’m not only going to scare the audience but also teach the audience about evil like what it is and what it can do to you if you're not careful of what you wish for.
There is a creature alive today who has survived millions of years of evolution without change, without passion, and without logic. It lives to kill. A mindless eating machine, it will attack and devour anything. It is as though God created the devil and gave him Jaws.”
Guess how they got a PG?...LOL....They told MPA board, "Look, this is a fish, not a maniac, The fish is just doing what it does, No child is going to grab someone in the ocean and eat them!"!..... lol....The MPA bought it, but it had to add the print line, " Too intense"...lol....and surprisingly, that's not the first movie Universal added that to....see the poster for the earlier, "The Andromeda Strain".
I ain’t never seeming this trailer before aside from the theatrical one with the narrator telling about the ‘creature, if God created the devil, and Jaws!’
0:01 there is a creature alive today. 0:05 who had survived, 0:06 millions of years of evolution. 0:08 without change, 0:11 without passion, 0:12 and without logic.
On this day 49 years ago - June 20, 1975 - Hollywood's first summer blockbuster Jaws opened in theaters - I'm hoping that Universal Pictures will re-release #Jaws on the big screen next summer 2025 to celebrate the 50th (!) anniversary of my favorite movie of all time. #MayBeTooIntenseforYoungerChildren
a movie like this now days would be Rated R or PG14, but damn only PG? I know the rating system was different back then but PG? wow I never knew this was PG
About 6 years after its original release it was shown as a children's holiday morning matinee at my local cinema the ABC Dover. That's the film not the trailer
“It is as if God created the devil and gave him…Jaws…”
Rawest trailer line known to man
