This car is really priced under its bracket. 200+hp for 146k conti car. Even by japanese standard is really cheap. I feel like this car was meant to be priced higher but as stellantis' first car since they enter malaysia it's priced really competitively. This car is the hot girl they're trying to seduce us with, literally because it's such a looker. If i hadn't already purchased a 2008 just 2 years ago I'd have picked this
The brand new car 408 has programatically reduced engine etc. When you reach something like 5000-10000km it will open it at full power.Numbers could be different since I dont remember them.
If & When can fully Resolved the Spare Parts & Workshop Mechanicals skills in repairing. Only then Market Second-hand Values will be compromised , broadly speaking!!
Just unable to take anyone who'd buy a Peugeot seriously.. can't accept that type of life decision to invest 200k into any French piece of cr4466pp Excellent presenter though, this Jim and another guy Aiman are great reviewers
I do 50k kms per year in Peugeots over the past 40 plus years. Several different models. I do drive Japanese cars but wouldn't own any of them. Just a preference on my part. Peugeots are for those love driving on B roads.
Invest in any car would be stupid idea. U buy it. U use it. But U DONT buy it to sell it over price you bought it. Investing is different thing and not about cars, you know it right? You not investing in your new iphone. iphone loses its price much faster then this peugeot cars.
Let's goo Peugeot! I own a 2008, and absolutely love it. I clocked 50k km within just 1 year, that's how much I enjoyed driving it 🫰

Peugeot cars are so much fun to drive. Hopefully Stellantis Malaysia will keep the 408GT as well as bring in more models to Malaysia

That 2,500km mileage could be all tough miles, getting thrashed hard from media drives since 0km, without proper break-ins.

i think this car is totally worth it in 5 years considering how fast peugeots depreciate. but RM200k is just wayyy too high of a price tag
