Praise God for the legend that is David Livingstone. The natives accepted his Christ because he preached in love and understanding, setting them free from the bondage of indigenous paganism. No native could be forced by a man they could easily kill. Bwanasifiwe kwa mtu hii

Wow, his heart was buried in Africa, the place for which he gave his whole life. That is incredibly moving. I teared at that part. Such an ending is almost poetic. That must be one of the most romantic things I've ever heard. What an incredible life. Seriously, what a beautiful heart, mind, and soul.

He was killed under the instructions of King Mwanga of Buganda Kingdom in Uganda. It is stated that after his capture, the king ordered"mumute" This is a local vernacular language that i speak meaning "release him" but his captors misunderstood it to mean "Mumutte" which means "kill him". This is a luganda language spoken by the majority in Uganda. King Mwanga was later to execute other 20 young chiristian converts who were burnt alive to death on 3rd June late 18th century.

'"learning their ways and customs' no white man shd assume these natives hve no religion. They shd not be forced to accept christianity. There has been too much bloodshed for this reason , as it is.

jessie james Our forefathers knew the Spirit of God through his handy works: the trees, rivers ect. This is why they worship his creation. Christ is creation, know this.John 1:1
