Sergio Solo yeah i wanted to like tanks and i do, but tanks like the m1a1 are just too simple(lower hull, upper hull which is one piece, lower turret and upper turret) so it gets boring. I have to get complicated tanks like the b1 or m3 lee, or switch to airplanes. Most tanks today they all looks the same. Where as planes are completely different each one of the,
Thank you very much, Alex! Yeah, sometimes I get curious about the reasons behind the dislikes, but at the end you can't please everyone no matter what. Cheers!
You're one of the kindest modellers out there. I love your work and I'm really thankful for all the effort you put in the videos and the the thought you put into sharing with everyone else. ¡Muchas gracias, Orestes! 🇨🇴
Parabéns Sérgio! Excellent work, you care about each detail, even de smallest... that’s what makes you a professional modeler! My intention was to watch only the painting but when I realized it has passed 30 minutes... bravo!
This build is incredible! And the tutorial video is just perfect! I enjoy your videos so much, how you explain every step, the music, the humor, everything is so good! I'll start with my SU-33 soon and as a beginner i find this video so helpful! I will not be able to make it as beautiful as your model, but this tutorial helps alot! Thank you very much for a perfect tutorial! Love from sweden! ❤
Replied on every comment so far..impressive, also love the build. It never occurred to me ti trill holes for wires to slot in before gluing. I battled for hours trying to glue on the surface directly, thanks for the tip
Thank you, Vince! I'm glad you found my video useful. I try to reply to everyone, but sometimes it takes several hours, depending on how busy I am. Cheers!
Man I really need to learn to become a better modeller. Watching videos like yours is so extremely helpful so thank you very much for making them for us. I will know I’ve eventually became a decent modeller once I can tap the model and “pop” the part just jumps rt onto it without me needing to cut it off the spruce, clean it up and then glue it on. You need to teach me that trick...lol. Seriously thank you for such informative well made videos for me to learn from. Keep up the great work.
Amazing work. The SU-33 is such a beautiful aircraft and it's super nice to see it being put together. 😍 However, there's only one minor mistake I've noticed on the final assembly of the payload, regarding the placement you chose for the R-27ET missiles. Reference timestamp: 32:16 The model comes with the 2 types of Air-to-air missiles the Sea Flanker operates: The medium-range R-27 and the short-range high off-boresight R-73. The R-27s are those bigger ones, and they come in 2 variants: The R-27ER is the semi-active radar-guided missile, the one with the pearl white pointy tip; And the R-27ET is a heat-seeker version, the one with the more rounded tip, which houses the Infra-Red Optical Sensor. The mistake you made is that the R-27ET missiles are only carried under the wing, in the third station (counting from the wingtip inwards) of each wing, so they're not carried under the center fuselage or under the engine inlets, like you placed them on the model. Another minor thing you missed is that the SU-33 has a fourth weapon station under each wing, placed right below the "elbow" of the wing, inbound, right next to the landing gear door. It can carry one extra R-27ER there or even any air-to-ground ordinance. So, in case you still have a pair of spare pylons from the model kit, you SHOULD use them there. Here is a reference chart for the different weapons the SU-33 can operate and where they typically go on the aircraft: thaimilitaryandasianregion.files.wordpress.com/2016/11/4b90f603738da977770b04d0b251f8198618e321.jpg?w=625&h=596 And further info and photo reference of the aircraft: thaimilitaryandasianregion.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/su-33-flanker-d-su-27k-sea-flanker/
Sergio, Really nice build! I really like your comments, special effects, humor, and got a good laugh from the feet. I have subscribed and will be looking forward to future videos. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Sergio, firstly nice to have you back doing what you do best, also absolutely great choice of subject SU33 & a Zvezda kit to, I am just starting to pick a few of there kits up, recently the Yak-130 & nicely surprised at the quality & build. Brilliant paint job, varnishes well we all have issues from time to time, but end result was spot on. No pressure, but can’t wait to see what’s next. 😁
Thank you very much, Mark! The SU-33 is a very cool looking aircraft, and the camo scheme is just beautiful, but to be honest I found it to be a bit too difficult for a first timer, specially the painting part. But anyway, my supporters at Patreon are voting for my next project, so stay tuned for the announcement. Cheers!
That's why I love Gunze and Tamyia paints. No need to purchase specific thinners. I hate be hostage of these no option thinner dependant paints...Great job anyway. Love it
Wow!
Very nice build. I enjoyed watching it...One note regarding the missiles placement. Due to Admiral Kuznetsov sky-jump type of ramp and weight limitation Su-33 cannot carry so many R27 missiles. I believe standard configuration is 4xR27 & 2xR73.
Good work. I don't agree with you removing the lens on the lights, though. The real ones are like the model kit has, and if you want an accurate model you should try to add a clear lens to the landing gear lights at some point.
¡Hola Sergio! Back in force with a big surprise! 😁 Half an hour of pure delight. And then I saw the pictures on Instagram. Great colors! And good choice for your first airplane 😀. Some of the newest kits from Zvezda are incredibly good. I have this one on my whish list since its announcement. (I ignored the mishaps with the varnish. They are often trouble makers...) I hope that the problem with your compressor wasn't too serious.
Hey, Radu! Yeah, I wanted to build an aircraft to spice things up, you know :D Although it was too complicated for a first timer. About my compressor, the technician had to replace the motor itself, so it has a "new" second hand motor from a fridge. I hope it lasts at least another three or four years

Hi Sergio, excelent job!!!. I've been following your vids for a while. Thanks for sharing your models (and how to do them) with us. A question, what and how do you clean the airbrush after using varnish, do you dilute it, what do you use to dilute?. From the Canary Islands. Thanks a lot. Hola Sergio, !!excelente trabajo!!. He estado siguiendo tus vídeos durante algún tiempo.
Thanks. It's the first time I have problems with their varnish. Usually they are amazing (specially the matte one), but I'm glad you can make an informed decision
You mean, Abrams or Bradley to join with Usmc Tank Crew.. eheeh,.. I'm just kidding, but it should be stunning! You are very talented. All the best my friend. Again, awesome vídeo!
Great work thank you! I can see that you havent been making more videos (for more then 2 years now) and we miss you. One question you can answer, did you delute mig wanish or are you spraying directly from the bottle? Thanks again
You did great! Could you show us your painting studio? I dont really know where to set all my stuff up i dont have good ventilation other than a window near the table. Also , on an airplane someone recommended to add those small parts after painting to reduce damage and not break them
I have a totally opposite problem with the light blue, its too dark. Would you recommend to keep adding white till i like it or maybe to use white primer before aplying the colour(or maybe both)?

AK Gauzy Agent sprayed evenly, best gloss coat out there, then Tamiya or Mr.Color diluted with either Tamiya Lacquer Thinner or GSI Creos Leveling Thinner for best results.

Buen video tambien. Saludos desde California 👍
Very nice, how did you managed to put such a small bit into Tamiya electrick hand drill? Coz i know its made only for 1mm or bigger. Thank you!
Sorry for the late reply. I use a Dremel 483 collet and put some tape to get a tight fit in the 0.3mm bit
Another great vídeo! Awesome! The best channel ever!

Hello 👋 this is my second model kit and I’m trying to build version 2 but the instructions are confusing which one shows how to make version 2?
Im currently wondering, which set is better to buy? The SU-33 from Zvezda or Revell
Which one is better in quality ?
Best of SU fighter model
¡Excelente trabajo! Enhorabuena! :)
¡Muchas gracias, Toni!

AK Gauzy Agent sprayed evenly, best gloss coat out there, then Tamiya or Mr.Color diluted with either Tamiya Lacquer Thinner or GSI Creos Leveling Thinner for best results.
