The cockpit colour is a 50/50 Pale Blue + White Grey. If you want the paint numbers, you can google the Vallejo Model Air paint range. Hope that helps. I don't know what else I can tell you about the colours and materials I used.
Tell me please, how do you remove the panel lines on both sides? I am afraid to destroy all the coating if I use thinner for that. Some layers of protection??
The enamel based panel liner can be removed with white spirits/ odorless thinner without damaging the acrylic paint. But I did use a semigloss varnish over the acrylic before applying the panel lines. Hope that helps. If you are not sure, test the technique on another piece of plastic.
So I can use x20 a by Tamiya I think. I tried one time and my coating were damaged. But I think you're right, testing on another model piece with good layer of varnish
@@herrzwackelmann2876 I’ve always used odourless thinner or white spirt. If you want an easy non-evasive method. Make an acrylic wash and then add a bit of dish soap. Apply it to the model then remove the excess with a q-tip dipped in water. But again, try it on a test piece. You can score plasticard with a knife to simulate panel lines.
Missing information (comments) about what paint (color) in what proportion was used (and other elements - like varnish, pigments, ec.). I.e. "Tamiya XF-00 + XF2 (2:1)" ... The rest is perfect! Nice project! I would add some hydraulics imitation for landing gear (with 0,1 mm wire) Btw, what paintbrush are you using for small and extra small paintings? I.e. at 6:30?
Thanks for the comment. The paint colours are in the description. I've updated it to include the weathering and varnish. The brush I use for detail parts is the Winsor and Newton series 7 #1
Does anybody have any recommendations for a model? I just got an academy f-18 model and i enjoyed building it. But i want a plastic model that isn’t too hard to build.
Okay, well if you want a simpler build then I would look for models with low parts count. Airfix sells starter sets that are easier to build, or go with an older style jet that doesn't have as many bells and whistles as the more modern jets. Smaller scales like 1/72 or 1/144 vs 1/48 scale will have less detail and lower parts count as well. @@Vanillaoreodog

Damn, not I REALLY want to get and build that kit From a design POV I always though the Su-33 to be one of the most beautiful fighters ever built.
Yes, I've always loved this plane for its looks. It was a little difficult to build, however. But I'd love to try a larger scale one day.

Really nice video and build ! Instead of writing in the comments the paints it would be better to write as you you use them in my opinion
Thanks for the note! I'll do that in future videos.
What are you using to stick parts on your long stick for painting. Some kid of putty?
Blue sticky tack. $2 at Walmart :-)

Depends what you are looking to build. Are you open to other types of models, or do you want another aircraft?
@@echelonhobbiescanada i want another jet

Sorry, I mistakenly deleted your response...I would recommend the Zvezda, but it was a difficult kit with lots of small parts.
@@echelonhobbiescanada i did an acadamy f-18 i think and it had alot of small parts but i think i did it good

Which pruduct use to remove the extra paneliner?
It would be enamel thinner or white spirit
