Saw them a few weeks ago, still awesome!!! Love this song, and their new album, can’t believe it’s been 40 years! Going to see Brian Setzer Orchestra in November
Thanks Brian for keeping Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran's tunes alive...I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT, HAD THEY LIVED, you 3 WOULD BE TOURING TOGETHER.. MAKING UN REAL HISTORY.......BLESS THEM.....Brian-Eddie and Gene, LIFE'S BEST.
Aww the Stray Cats, boy do I enjoy ROCKING OUT to these guys, Brian Setzer is a natural born frontman and the other Cats' individual talents and personalities ensured explosive live performances, yea I love me some STRAY CATS 😻😽🐱🎸🎤
I saw them at Wolf Trap last year and when they played this I sang along right with them. It was a high energy performance, which you can't say about all bands that have been around as long as they have.
Quand les Cats rendent hommage à deux légendes du Rockabilly ça donne un p'tit chef d'oeuvre. Bravo et Merci. Gégene and Eddie on ne vous oubliera jamais.
I shared this song from the stray cats to broadcast it on Radio Saint Affrique FM. Thanx a lot, long living to rock 'n roll, you're the welcomes. Antoine
Who would have thunk a revival pop band could be even more fun and talented live than in the studio? These blokes have never been less than the real deal!
Oh my godd this was so epic. First time I experience this song and I fell in love! The groove and feel was so powerful I wore my leather jacket and started dancing like mental with a grin all over my face. That was awesome just beautiful powerful music
I´m soo graaazy about Stray Cats. Bryan is 100% devoted to Eddie Cochran music. SAomewhere upon Eddie is smiling. Bryan your great ! So does Slim Jim and Lee Rocker! Your perferct..I feel wanna drink cola with Jack. I cant wait to see you guys here in Finland! Just perfect! Welcome to Pori Jazz 2019!
You have to remember Eddie Cochran, his life was cut incredibly short. But back in the day he and Elvis went toe-to-toe for an audience, if he would have lived he would given Elvis a run for his money always.
Brian saxophone in his school band and took guitar lessons.I heard his teacher say,Brian was playing things he just couldn't believe ,for anyone let alone a beginner.
Great send up to Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran. Giants of rock & roll in the 50's. Linked in a car crash that eventually led to Eddie's death. So 50's. Rockabilly will always be a style that few can play as well as these guys did.
It doesn't take a million dollars of equipment and production to create timeless classics
AGREE
Yup.... give me talent over a million in equipment..... these boys could take a raw cardboard box and make it sing!
True
Just incredible talent.
Except the production you see in this video uses equipment well over a million.
Thanks for this tribute to Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent . And Brian, you were great as Eddie Cochran In La Bamba.
Classic rockabilly and a superb guitarist. Setzer sets a high standard that few can match. Music at its best...
The best mate 🙏
Brian is gifted with a great voice. Gene and Eddie would be proud of him.

Love this song. Loved Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran also.
I saw Brian Setzer in Glasgow in 2006 - as a country living shy girl from the hills, it blew my fucking mind! I’d love to see him again 👍🏻❤️🏴
LOL this comment really made me laugh!! Didn't expect such a mouth from "a country living shy girl" !!!
Knowing what Scottish weather is like, I'd imagine that fucking is a common word, if only to describe how warm it isn't.
@AthelstanEngland Well, she may have been country living and shy back in 2006, but sounds like she's lived a bit over the ensuing 15-16 years 😅
What a guitar sound, we need to convert the young back to when real music was king
Keith TPC ain’t that the truth!
Yes,let's keep it all the way it was forever ? All the same, over & over & over ? GAHD ! I'm glad you don't call the shots !
