    Also a bonus that this tree is so beautiful, the colours and sculptural shapes, really like a painting.

    Did you grow this tree from seed and how big was it when you got it. I just purchased mine at a good size and grown from seed so I’m just trying to gage how many years before fruiting. Thanks for sharing and great video. PS did it taste like ice cream?

      @RealLifeFruitopia  3 роки тому +3

      Mine was as a seedling around 2 years old. It fruited 3 years from purchase, so that's 5 years from seed. Taste is closest to cotton candy, varies with varieties. Good luck with yours!

    AUGHHH! Is anyone anywhere ever going to give a good description of the TASTE of fruit? Duh we know it's sweet. What does it TASTE like? Please! It would be a bonus but very helpful for people who are considering planting this tree to talk about whether the taste is better on this tree vs. others and is it worth planting since it's so large? Does this one fix nitrogen?

      Definitely a worthy nitrogen fixer and a large canopy tree which is why I planted it. Taste is not its strong point. Mildly sweet and moist cotton candy like flavour. I haven't tried any other Inga beans for comparison.

    I really enjoyed watching your videos. It's amazing how much you can grow in Melbourne Victoria.
    I live in the South East area. Do you offer a garden visit so I can learn and get more ideas what and how to grow more tropical fruits in my garden? Thanks.

      I'm glad you found my channel. You're not the first to ask for a garden tour of the "Melbourne Tropics", I'm yet to decided whether to do this, so stay tuned. Meanwhile, subscribe for future updates and keep on checking back. The best is yet to come!

    The tree will be feeding the other plants nitrogen, they plant them in coffee farms to fix the soil. The sugar cane and bananas would love that tree

      also the Custard Apple and Fuerte Avocado right below it. Once the Inga has spread 10 metres wide I'll chance growing a Jackfruit again.
