Little tip if needed , get a glass table and put a desk light underneath the glass table face the light upward to align the image then just use heat tape to transfer shirt to press it really works good👍🏽.

I've had the SG400 for over 2 years now (8.5"x14") Definitely need this SG1000. Sometimes my images aren't given their justice because of size. Thanks for the video!

No problem. It really is worth it but you can always start with the 500 like I did and work your way up. You have options.

Why two?
I think one (Chroma blast) is for cotton the other is for light colored high polyester count fabrics. @anna.

Yes and no. The second shirt will not be as vibrant as the first. If there is ink still left on the sheet you can press the remaining but the images gets lighter and lighter until there is no more ink left to transfer.
Hi, love watching your videos and got the SG1000, did my first print( a photo) and it came out faded when I pressed it. Did the temp and time recommended. Don't now what I did wrong. Help please....

Great choice. I started with the 500 and wanted the 1000 instantly. Had to work my way up to buying it.

Can you print on color shirts
I've been having problems with the wifi connection for my SG1000.I purchased it from HPN.
Did you use my heat press nation affiliate link when you got it? Is it a WiFi issue does all your other devices connect fine?
@@adubbproductions Nah I didn't know about the link until later. I purchased it in March. Just opened it up Friday. And all my other devices work s fine.
If you did it exactly like I did it in the video you should not be having an use. If it’s still a problem you should contact HPN. What message are you getting in the screen.

I’ve been tearing my hair out trying to figure out why US has an extended tray to pull out on the SG 500 and 1000 to get a bit more length and I’m in the UK mine does not. Apparently I was told by sawgrass,
that US uses legal and letter.... it’s on every software package around the world which is used does not make sense and the price for the sawgrass is the same all over so now I’m looking to get the 1000 and no pull out on length on the draw

Can this printer print white designs or white ink color
No. Sublimation does not do that. Sublimation printers work best sublimating onto white items therefore white ink is not necessary.
Where did you get your shirts from in bulk and what is the percentage poly?
Alphabroder. 100% polyester.

Hey Allan, do you prefer the SG1000 than the ET-15000? Looking to pick up a sublimation printer. I know I'd need to modify the ET but I heard pros and cons. Just was curious on your thoughts. Thanks
I still have not yet converted/put the sublimation ink in mu et15000 for that reason. I’m not looking forward to having to find print settings and do tests to find the proper settings to send it to print. Hours and hours that I don’t care to spend when the sg1000 is just plug and play. I will vet around to it one day but at this point there is really no reason for me to do it. The upfront costs of the et15000 is attractive but when you factor in buying ink and sublimation paper and spending hours trying to get it to work properly the sg is much more attractive. Plug and play. People pay extra to avoid complication. Worth every penny to me. I couldn’t give you a fair comparison at this time but those are my thoughts. Hope that helps.

I’ve got a question for you brother I noticed you were using a MacBook I could not get the app to download on the Mac. How did you go about doing that?
Print manager downloads to mac and or pc but the printing software itself productions server is an online based software it doesn’t download to your mac or pc. You have to log into your online account to use it after you’ve opened your print manager.

What’s better SG 1000 or DTG?
Two totally different methods. Sublimation vs dtg. You can’t really compare because they are totally different. Sublimation is good for white polyester and dtg is good for cotton. Sublimation is less expensive to get going. I personally feel like dtg is more comparable to something you would see welling in a store however with sublimation you can make mugs and sublimate onto varies items to sell. I think its personally preference but I don’t think the two can be compared because they are not interchangeable. You can’t take the same shirt and use either method. 100% cotton shirts can not be sublimated on and 100%polyester shirts are very difficult to do dtg on. They solve different issues.

To use your sawgrass, no.
If you want to create your own designs however you do need to purchased and learn to use some type of graphic design software. Doesn’t have yo be photoshop. Or you could just hire a graphic designer to make your designs.

The ink has never clogged on me. Expensive is relative. I would say most people look at the price and say yes but if you consider how many prints you can get out of a set then it is very fairly priced.

Cool. I was nervous about the icolor but I took the leap and got the 800. Should be here in next week maybe.
Nothing to worry about with the sg1000. I’ve never had serious issues. I had a paper jam once and when I cleared it I bent a part on the inside. Contacted sawgrass and they sent me out a new part under warrantee. No problems since. They are great. I have the 500 and the 1000. I get all my supplies from heat transfer warehouse. I purchased paper from Amazon just to try it out to see if there was a difference. No real noticeable difference so I just stick to the small company heat transfer warehouse.
@@adubbproductions The I color also does sublimation when you swap out the ink cartridges for sublimation cartridges.The I color is great and your going to get huge prints with the 800.I get all my supplies straight through uninet.Has a kinda paper feel on the final product but it is what it is😎
@@dedication626 that’s why I was hesitant. The paper feel. But i did some research and hopefully preparing the artwork properly will alleviate most of the paper feeling. We will see. Fingers crossed. I’m also taking a white toner master class to ease the learning curve.
