Interesting video! But did you know that you didn't stop at the stop sign at the start of the video? Because I noticed that you drove straight through the stop sign without coming to a complete stop! Lol!

Nice video man. Question for you...are you able to drive faster/ track faster moving objects with follow me vs active track? It seems that active track isnt good for things that are moving quickly, for example someone skiing and changing direction often. Would follow me be a better option for that case? Cheers!

You may have been asked this before, but having made these cruise ship flights with the various DJI Quadcopters, how do you rate the various aircraft comparing one to another in performance and such. I realize the Inspire is one of the costlier of the DJI models you have used, however do you feel there is all that much difference in maneuvering capabilities, or video reproduction between the different models you have used while conducting those flights..
Hello and thank you for asking the question again. Of of the phantoms I've flown have great cameras and great user experience. With that said the inspire is the same great user experience but it's more aerodynamic and flies faster. There fore it is one of my favorite drones.

I recently obtained an Inspire, V2.0, and while I find the Inspire to be more robust in comparison to say my Phantom 3, I simply was curious how the Inspire compared to some of the smaller Phantom series models specifically when flying out over the Ocean as you have, particularly in what may be considered adverse weather conditions, again this in comparison to the P-3, and now newly released P-4 model. I have a mavic pro and wonder how i can get all the overlay on the video. I mean i want everything i see on the smartphone when i fly, all this i want i the recorded video. Today i only get the video from the sd card.

Dear Copter Tube, I´m an experienced drone pilot and also a private pilot, but I have lost 2 drone Phantom all mount with googles, IOS Go pro etc.. The first I lost following a boat to make one video and I colide with the sea. Do you know if this model (Phantom 4) it´s possible to fly avoiding to fall into the sea as the same form it avoid to crash into an tree or wall? Thanks for your kindly reply. Cezar (Brazil)
There is a collision avoidance front and bottom. For the bottom one if the drone is flying over a transparent, reflective, repeated pattern and some other textures the 2 cameras are not able to estimate correctly the height above ground level. If the ground is moving it is even worst (animals or waves). So it's better but not perfect neither
What screen capture did you run for your phone or pad?
So i just got my drone and been trying to figure this out. Is the drone supposed to follow you while you drive WITHOUT touching the controller? or is is just the camera that tracks and you still manually control the RC? Please and thanks!

Can you shoot the front of the car using follow me or tracking? Means that the drone will have to fly backwards. Or can the camera rotate backwards, so that the drone can fly forward and use its front sensors to detect obstacles .

+CopterTube I wondered since it was 1000 ft away or so at low altitude from where you took off. I wonder how far you could have active tracked the vehicle if you stayed (with the controller) where you took off at that altitude, probably not very far but at the height you did the follow me, the active track mode would have been much greater I would suppose..

Does anyone know why a transponder gps based sensor can't just be placed on the SUBJECT and have gps coordinates communicated with the unit actively so the dji unit knows exactly where the subject is at all times relative to itself? seems obvious to me... one set of numbers x, y & z telling where the unit is and another set of x, y & z telling the unit where the subject is and voila! it should know where to point the camera at all times and where to position itself relative to the subject. Why is this such a challenge?

Follow me uses the GPS in the remote. Active track uses the camera to track am object with no GPS.
