Mom really liked this one. BTW the purple rocks in the Geodes are Amethysts, just like the mine we went to NE of Thunder Bay. They don't absorb anything, they're just purple quartz. The way to tell in the rocks are salt (Halite) is to lick your finger then rub the rock, then lick your finger again. You'll know if it's salt then.
