Church membership is suggested by the biblical instruction that all Christians should be accountable to a group of church leaders, such as elders or pastors. Also, 1 Corinthians 12:21-26. Hebrews 10:25: "Not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing nearer"
1. **Hebrews 10:24-25**: - "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." 2. **Acts 2:42-47**: - "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers... And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." 3. **1 Corinthians 12:12-27**: - This passage talks about the Church as the body of Christ, emphasizing that each member plays a vital role. Verse 27 states, "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it." 4. **Ephesians 4:11-13**: - "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith..." 5. **Colossians 3:16**: - "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." 6. **Matthew 18:20**: - "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." This verse underscores the importance of gathering in the name of Jesus. 7. **1 Timothy 3:15**: - "If I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth." These scriptures collectively suggest that being part of a local church community is vital for spiritual growth, accountability, and mutual encouragement among believers. While the Bible may not explicitly command church membership as a legalistic requirement, it certainly supports the idea of being actively involved in a local congregation.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Our assembling together can show the world we have been born of the same Spirit of God and that Spirit is love. The church is the body of Christ and we will all be assembled together one day, but until then we assemble locally and shine the light all across the world until Jesus gathers his own. I Corinthians chapter 12 talks about how we need each other. * At this moment I'm thinking... I don't recall any new testament commandments to fast but Jesus said - Mark 2:20 KJV - But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. It may not be a commandment written down that says "thous shalt fast or go to church", but if one is born again the Spirit in them will lead them, which could be why you asked your question, maybe the Spirit is trying to teach you something. I've learned so much gathering with other saints.... Matthew 18:20 KJV - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
@11:25 Pastor Jeff says that Jesus is calling down condemnation on people by his own definition of how Jesus uses the word “woe.” Just remember John 3:17: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” Jesus is spreading a warning.. that if the false ones continue down the broad path of destruction, they will meet destruction. Jesus is most certainly not calling down curses from heaven. God’s judgment is not asleep. The wicked walk into their own traps, but, the righteous one is delivered from them. Not by his own hand, but by the hand of God. Blessed are those who put their trust in the Lord.
He's absolutely correct! "Woe" is the immutable curse/destruction coming upon the earth. Christ will put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy is death.
1. **Hebrews 10:24-25**:
- "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
2. **Acts 2:42-47**:
- "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers... And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
3. **1 Corinthians 12:12-27**:
- This passage talks about the Church as the body of Christ, emphasizing that each member plays a vital role. Verse 27 states, "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
4. **Ephesians 4:11-13**:
- "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith..."
5. **Colossians 3:16**:
- "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
6. **Matthew 18:20**:
- "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." This verse underscores the importance of gathering in the name of Jesus.
7. **1 Timothy 3:15**:
- "If I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth."
These scriptures collectively suggest that being part of a local church community is vital for spiritual growth, accountability, and mutual encouragement among believers. While the Bible may not explicitly command church membership as a legalistic requirement, it certainly supports the idea of being actively involved in a local congregation.

Covid really exposed everything and showed the salt levels
The hypocrites that go out onto the street to look righteous so people can see them pray. Islam ..... And they have the audacity to say Jesus prays like a muslim
Check this revelation out: @:min 49-51 'to have God's law on your forehead or on your hand. A sign that you belong to God'. When the Anti-Christ comes, where will people receive his mark????????? On the forehead or on the hand! A sign that someone belongs to him. Copycat. But Jesus has already marked those who are His!

And you are a fool that is wise in his own eyes
"i love when dudes with beards tell me something is a commandment from GOD. "
I love when randos comment on a video they disagree with and provide nothing but their fallible opinion, proving noone has to heed a word they say.....
He preaches better than preacher that fits what ever fleshy criteria you hold as a standard for a man of God
@@richarddey1948 sycophant. You have no words to judge me
@@robmc120 I could argue the same about your comment. Your remark is not congruent with mine. You don’t know me and I haven’t given you reason, other than you disagree with me, to call me rando but to fully accept your position. Either deal with what I’ve said or screw off
